Alta Sierra Country Club is a rustic wedding venue located in Grass Valley, California. With lush green fairways framed with oaks and pines, couples have the perfect picturesque wedding setting for any season. Spring is brightly decorated with numerous flowering trees. A warm summer day is a perfect for an early day or late afternoon wedding. Autumn's backdrop of the changing leaves add a jeweled touch. Bring the wedding inside in winter for a ceremony under the cathedral windows. The beauty of the setting and natural foliage make for amazing photography.

Facilities and Capacity
Alta Sierra Country can accommodate up to 225 guests. Choose from the gorgeous deck or beautiful outdoor site for your ceremony. For the reception, there’s a 14,000-square-foot clubhouse with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer a perfect view of the golf course. Chef David Alvarez comes with 35 years in the hospitality business. He has worked with Guy Fieri and at Les Halle's in New York. His expertise offers many choices for delicious meals.

Amazing! If you have the chance to have your wedding here, I highly recommend you do so. The property is absolutely beautiful. The outdoor ceremony area is great. Kristen, our onsite coordinator, was on top of everything. Any little hiccup she took care of almost instantly and she was quick to respond every step of the way through the planning. The club house was wonderful, with dressing rooms for both sides of the wedding party. As for the food, we still have guests telling us it was the best they have had at a wedding. Chef David did an amazing job! We will be returning just to try some more of his creations. ASCC helped make our dream wedding come true. Highly recommend considering for your wedding. One visit and you'll love it.

My association with ASCC was my husband's memorial service in April. The club was very accommodating. It would be a great venue for weddings, memorial s or any other function. Be sure to check it out!

We loved the convenience of having our wedding and reception in one location. Our wedding was small so we were able to use the deck for the ceremony. We were given several menu choices, and the food and service were great. The golf course was the perfect setting for afternoon photos. Jan, the event coordinator, went above and beyond to help make our wedding perfect!

I highly recommend having your wedding day here! The staff are amazing people, helpful, kind and professional. I had my wedding and reception here. They provided a dance floor, arch, tables, linens and music area (you provide music). They check on you and your guests prior to the ceremony to provide food and drinks. Some guests even got to practice golf! Our wedding day was made special by the staff of Alta Sierra Country club. Its located in the foothills, so the trees and scenery is perfect for photos and weather is wonderful!

A beautiful place for a great cost.
Franca and her staff made my wedding a well organized, stress free, BEAUTIFUL wedding. She and her staff went above and beyond the needs of my entire wedding party and guests. This venue is beautiful inside and out with fantastic food. Franca was with us every step of the way from the rehearsal to the reception. I was allowed to have the wedding of my dreams because she accommodated our ideas and requests and helped us with some secrets we had for our guests. All of our guests are still telling us what a beautiful venue we chose and how great the food was. I would recommend this venue to any bride wanting a beautiful golf course venue for a great price and great staff.

To ask that the room is set up before the time given. Double check all food items before going out. Make sure the coordinator will be there to help with giving direction. Disappointed that Jan wasn't there. Guests arrived, bar doors were closed. It wasn't until we arrived and we opened them. Deviled eggs first tray were covered with paprika, after we asked not to have any on them. Chef was doing all the work in front and back of house.
