Allerton Park and Retreat Center

We had an amazing experience with Allerton Park Recreation Center and their entire staff. From the wedding coordinator, Jordan Zech, to the catering staff, they were simply phenomenal! Jordan was easy to work with and very flexible to help accommodate our needs. She was prompt to respond to emails and always willing to meet with us to discuss details in person. The catering staff, including Pam, was also very helpful in making decisions and suggestions to help better serve our guests.

The venue itself is full of so much beauty and aesthetics that you can't find anywhere else in central Illinois! We were inside the mansion for our wedding and the air conditioning kept everyone at a nice temperature but there is an awesome pond and standing area outside for guests if they choose!
The staff made sure the day itself went without a hitch! I have no complaints at all about this group and would recommend them to anyone looking to have an amazing wedding experience!

Allerton staff was incredible. They went above and beyond to help make everything run smoothly. Any worry I had was gone because they handled it! We got a great deal and everyone of our guests loved that they could stay on property!

I photograph weddings all over Illinois (Ernst Jacobsen Photography) and Allerton Mansion is always one of my favorites. A gorgeous mansion combined with acres of beautiful photo opportunities make for a beautifully unique, one-of-a-kind wedding venue. Highly recommend!!
