Alice’s Piece of Cake is a wedding bakery located in Powell, Ohio. Owner and licensed cake artist Alice Dreischarf would be honored to create fresh, delicious handmade cakes for couples based on their unique needs and desires. Couples and guests will enjoy the taste and beauty of her cakes for such a special day.
Services Offered
Alice’s Piece of Cake will consult with couples to come up with a custom design of the wedding cake based on the couples’ vision. She will also provide couples with private tastings so that they may preview and select cake and icing flavors. Alice will deliver and set up desserts and cakes with cake stands; she will also honor dietary restrictions for those who have diabetes, are vegan, and lactose, nut, and gluten free. All items are made with locally-sourced ingredients and fresh fruit. Besides cake, Alice’s Piece of Cake also offers couples the following delicious treats:

We got connected with Alice through our venue (WatersEdge) and we are so glad for that! Alice was great to work with and executed our cake vision perfectly. Everything was very straight forward with communicating what we were looking for. The cake was HUGE and so delicious!! We chose lemon cake with raspberry and strawberry filling - SO good! We got a lot of compliments from our guests, and we're excited to dive back into the cake on our 1st year anniversary! Can't recommend Alice enough, thank you!

Best wedding cake EVER!
I can’t recommend Alice enough! She is always super sweet, with clear and prompt communication, and the process from tasting to booking to day-of was easy. Not to mention her cakes are DELICIOUS. We had no leftovers!

Delicious!!
Alice created our wedding cake as well as a small cake for our original wedding date (we postponed due to Covid). She was absolutely amazing to work with and turned our vision into reality! She even flawlessly rescheduled us when we postponed in 2020. We are so happy we chose to work with Alice and will definitely be returning customers!

Beautiful and Delicious Cake with Personal Touches
Alice is the sweetest and so is her cake! We had such a fun time at the cake tasting and Alice was so helpful in designing our cake to look and taste just like we wanted. We had to postpone due to covid and she was very flexible with that. She had me send her a picture of the cake stand I wanted to use so she could make sure it was sturdy enough which I appreciated. My florist left flowers for Alice to decorate with on the day of the wedding and she did an amazing job. The cake was gorgeous - I got so many compliments on the look and flavor.
My grandmother also got in a car accident on her way to my wedding and my mom found out while Alice was there. Alice hugged my mom and offered to help in any way and that meant a lot to us! It's clear she doesn't just care about the cake, she also cares about the couple too!

I had my wedding out of town but made sure to order my sheet cakes through Alice, and they did not disappoint. She made the BEST groom's cake for my husband. Highly recommend!!

If you are looking for a delicious and beautiful wedding cake that your guests will rave about for weeks afterwards, more than the ceremony, music, or food, look no further than Alice’s piece of cake! Alice is an absolute joy to work with, and her cakes and other desserts look and taste amazing! We ended up with a lot left over, and Alice’s frozen cakes taste just as good as the night of!
