Wow, how can we say thank you to Mrs. Jan Kish for making us the most delicious and beautiful wedding cake. We loved our cake. Everything was perfectly done. We chose her signature Swan Cake because the taste was amazing and something that we had never tasted before. And let me tell you all that she delivered exactly what we had dreamed off. The beautiful cake taste was extraordinary. It was served as dessert to our guests. Everyone had ample servings and we still brought some home in addition to our top-tier. She provided great instructions on preserving the top-tier.
She was very professional and easy to work with. She did such an awesome job with the scroll design to match our mirror. Everyone was in awe of her beautiful creation. It was a dream come true for us. Again, we say thank you Mrs. Jan for a job well done. May God bless you always.

Jan is phenomenal. She is incredibly talented and I feel confident can make any wedding couple’s visions comes to life. She was incredibly warm and attentive to our asks. We had her make a grooms cake, a cutting cake for presentation and photos and a special batch of mini cakes for all guests to enjoy at their seats. To say she went above and beyond, is an understatement! I cannot recommend Jan Kish enough for your wedding confection wishes!

Jan is extremely knowledgeable and not only helped us with the cake, but with our wedding timeline. Everyone says the cake was amazing and it looked absolutely beautiful. She did a great job replicating our Pinterest inspiration picture. She is pretty well known and makes cakes for some famous people. We had a cake with several layers so we got different flavors including banana with chocolate frosting, a traditional white cake, buckeye, and a chocolate cinnamon chile flavor. It was all so amazing! Can't wait to thaw our top tier out next year.

Jan was absolutely fantastic to work with. She and her assistant provided us with an experience we will never forget. From starting off our reception with a bang, literally, to the amazing cake she created, we couldn't have asked for anything better! Jan is top notch and her cakes are amazing!

After doing some extensive research online my husband and I made a few appointments with wedding cake vendors in the Columbus area. Our last stop of the day was with Jan Kish, and what we encountered was nothing like the previous vendors. I had seen work from Jan Kish before in a Kappa Kappa Gamma magazine displaying a beautiful cake that she had made. We were greeted by Jan, whose personality was warm and inviting. She had a plate of delicious cake for us to sample, each one so delicious that we immediately knew we had to work with Jan. We were not sure of our cake design and Jan was so flexible and creative helping us. We went a little non traditional and decided to feature our DNA on our cake. My husband and I had used DNA Gel Electrophoresis to sample our DNA and use the cross sections of each laser engraved onto wedding rings. We decided to take these same cross sections and display each persons DNA on a different layer of the cake. Jan was so patient in working with us to execute this idea flawlessly. We received so many compliments on the cakes appearance and taste. We placed an order for a very large cake as we were not sure the number of people attending our wedding, and in the end every single piece of cake was gone at the end of the night, people were going back for seconds and thirds. Jan also sabered a bottle of champagne right before our toast and everyone could not stop talking about it. Jan even talked to us about a midnight tier as couples often don't get to enjoy their cake at the wedding. We were hesitant if we would need it but so pleased that we went ahead with the option, we both missed our cake and were able to enjoy some together when we went back to the hotel. When other vendors asked who we were working with on the cake, they all responded in delight as Jan's cakes have quite the reputation for being delectable. We would highly recommend Jan to anyone look forward to the opportunity to work with her again.

In my honest opinion, Jan Kish makes the most delicious and beautifully designed wedding cakes in the United States. After tasting cakes from several wedding cake vendors there was no question that she was the one. Her cakes were delicious, tasty and light because she uses the best ingredients (no shortening or other ingredients that give cakes an awful after taste). What struck me the most was that Jan is so humble despite receiving high profile awards nationally and she really puts her heart and soul in making the perfect cake for her customer. I also love her quirky sense of humor. I spent endless hours discussing wedding cake design and flavors over the phone (I lived in San Francisco) and she was patient, fun, and helped make it a wonderful and creative experience that led to a beautiful cake that matched the wedding dress. The brushed embroidery technique, the sugar coated rosas, the iridescent coatings made for an elegant and and stunning design. Jan really executed the cake to perfection! Honestly, it was one of the highlights of the wedding. Everyone commented on how beautiful the cake was and how good it tasted. Even the top layer which was milk-free (allergy of the bride so the buttercream was made milk-free) tasted delicious and as good as the original. Our flavors were 1st layer white swan, 2nd layer persian love (pistacho), 3rd layer key lime margarita, and top layer was milk-free white swan. My only regret is that I didn't get to pick up the cake myself and see her put the finishing touches. Now I want to order a new cake every year for our anniversary and make it a tradition. I think there are enough flavors to cover 70+ years and I know for a fact that all her cake flavors are delicious!

I found Jan Kish through The Knot years before I was even engaged. Her cakes were the kind that every girl dreams of. I always envisioned having her make my wedding cake so I was thrilled when it actually happened. I found a picture of a cake online that I fell in love with that perfectly fit in with the design of our custom invitations. The design was simple but intricate, requiring detailed sugar work. Jan executed this cake to perfection! Not only was the cake beautiful but it tasted amazing. We went with 3 flavors (I recommend all of them!): Chocolate cake with mocha buttercream, Margarita with pina colada buttercream, and white swan cake with Raspberry and Lemon curd filling. Jan is able to make cakes that are not only incredibly beautiful but also taste amazing. I cannot wait for our 1 year anniversary so we can dig in to the top layer of our cake! I highly recommend Jan and her gorgeous cakes!

the cake was just what i had dreamed up and so much more! it was oh so french and beautiful! not only outside, but in. it was moist and delicious! worth the money!

The wedding cake was absolutely beautiful. And more than that, it tasted amazing. She also made the grooms' cake. It too was fantastic.
