From our first phone call after being engaged to the BIG DAY, Ali was absolutely incredible!
Ali ventured all the way out to our engagement site, which was at the Staunton Dam (aka in the woods) and she truly captured the joy we had during our engagement, even if that meant she had to climb out on a cliff to get the perfect shot!!! Our engagement photos were breathtaking, and we were able to order them with ease through her website.

Ali walked through every step up to the big day and created a wedding timeline that included everything I needed for photos. Ali & Caleb arrived on our big day, and it was an absolute DREAM!!!!! Ali shot my bridal crew and captured all the details that I wanted and more! Caleb made my husband and groomsmen feel so comfortable and they loved joking around with them. Ali puts her whole heart into her work, and it truly shows in all of her photos. My husband and I were blown away when Ali sent us our wedding previews during our honeymoon. I recommend Ali to every couple who wants to feel loved! Ali is the BEST PHOTOGRAPHER!

Ali was recommended to us by a friend. She was the first vendor we contracted with for the wedding. The engagement session was great. The photos were beautiful. She would send us little notes and emails - it was so cute. Her planning sessions were very helpful. The day of she was great. My husband doesn't like photos and she got him to smile and have fun! She was amazing with the shots. She already sent over some pictures and they are exactly what I wanted!

Ali Rae shot our engagement photos and they were AMAZING! We wanted our photos at the Lincoln Memorial and the morning of our shoot, there was scaffolding everywhere for an event. She was skillfully able to navigate the disruptions giving us photos like we were the only ones there. She was also very easy to work with and responsive. Would highly recommend!

Choosing to work with Ali as the photographer on our wedding day was by far the best decision we made. Not only is her work excellent, but her heart is warm and open. Being around her makes you feel like you're hanging with an old friend! My wedding was large and had a lot of moving pieces, but Ali was there every step of the way and never complained even once. It was a sweltering hot summer day, we were all sweating and drained, but she kept the energy of my husband and I (including our entire wedding party) up the whole time. You can't even tell it was almost 100 degrees in the pictures. This is a testament to her amazing skills. I mean I could seriously go on and on because this lady is seriously one-of-a-kind.
