We started Alex + Mima in 2000 as a small studio designing and creating one-of-a-kind event invitations and focusing on great design, innovative typography, unexpected materials, attention to every detail, and the fine artisanal crafts of bookbinding, gilding, and letterpress. Our approach quickly drew world-renowned event planners and clients' attention. We were fortunate to work with and learn from some of the industry's leading voices early on. All of this has led us to design invitations and brand events from small intimate weddings to galas with over fifteen thousand attendees.

Over the last twenty years, our small studio grew into a much larger space. Still, we design, manufacture, and assemble every single piece in our New Jersey studio; this is the cornerstone of our intimate relationship with our work and clients.
