I was planning a destination wedding in Savannah, and have a background in event and wedding planning. I did a TON of research on photographers, and called Alexis because her website had an abundant amount of photos. I think it is easy for photographers to pick their top 5 photos from an event, which makes them look amazing, but Alexis shared TONS of pictures for multiple weddings, where I was able to see her ability to capture everything, from special moments, to details, to the redundant group and family photos. One conversation with her and I knew I had to hire her! My husband and I hate being photographed, and during our engagement session, we had the time of our lives with her! She made us laugh and feel comfortable, but MOST importantly, she gave us directions. During the wedding day blur, she was amazing, guiding us, and our large bridal party and family, every step of the way. I love my pictures, and am so glad I invested in a talented photographer.

If you can hire Alexis, you 100% should hire Alexis. She is insanely talented. She shot both our engagement photos and our wedding photos and I am so in love with them. I'm considering wallpapering my house in them. When I look at our photos they evoke so many positive emotions and I'm so thankful these once in a lifetime moments have been captured so artistically. Alexis went above and beyond to get amazing shots for us. She was always professional, easy to work with and generally a great human being. Without hesitation I give her the highest of recommendations.

We just received our photos... Cannot believe how amazing these photos are!!! We could relive our day, and we captured on film how perfect this day actually was. Alexis and Denise were wonderful to work with!!! They were fun, and had amazing ideas. We did our wedding at the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum, and they used creativity to capture our day, and the beauty of our venue. Could not be happier with everything. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend. We did not meet her until the day of, as we have been stationed in various locations. When we wanted to book her, she face-timed us to answer questions, and told us not to rush and take our time. Very professional, answered our questions and made the day fun, memorable and managed to capture beautiful moments. We would love to recommend, and if we are ever living in Savannah, use her for other future family photos.

I booked Alexis based on a referral and she was amazing! My photos are beautiful and not cheesey or trying too hard. She really captured the special moments. I planned my own wedding and she even helped me when I forgot I had no one to tell me when to walk into the chapel! I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Alexis is a wonderful and extremely talented photographer. She is so much fun to work with and both our engagement and wedding pictures turned out beautiful. Alexis is energetic, engaging, and extremely flexible - she drove up to Charleston for our engagement and wedding pictures, and our bridal party shoots look completely surreal.

Alexis was so much fun! She was great with communiction, which was perfect for planning my destination wedding. Her use of time was spot on. We got all of the pictures we wanted, yet never felt rushed. She even made the experience easy and painless for my husband that doesn't like having his picture taken.

We had a great experience with Alexis for our engagement pictures. When we wanted to do our engagement session an hour away from Savannah, she was willing to drive all the way out there at 8 in the morning in the freezing cold. She was very personable and honest about what she expected of us for the pictures to turn out good. Most importantly, she was able to finish the pictures before my fiancée had to deploy to Afghanistan and they turned out great! We will definitely be hiring her for our wedding day.

Alexis photographed our wedding in Savannah, Georgia in October and we and everyone else who attended the wedding are in love with the photos! We told her we were pretty traditional and deferred to her creative talent and she used the ceremony and reception venues to their fullest extent, finding the best lighting, angles, spacing, etc. She took beautiful photos of the details, such as the floral arrangements, leaves down the aisle, unity candle, food, etc., which I am so happy about because the day went by so fast, I forgot to really appreciate these aspects we spent so much time planning. She photographed the progression of events during the ceremony so well we were in tears when looking at the photos. She also provided us with a nice mix of natural, color-enhanced and black-and-white photos, and she knew exactly which ones looked good with what effect. Also, after our ceremony during our outdoor photo session, it started to rain. Alexis got the wedding party into the shelter of the very photogenic outdoor church corridor and shot photos of us while standing in the rain (her assistant held up her umbrella). Those shots came out amazing, the drops of rain enhanced the effect, and they turned out to be some of our favorites. In addition to the posed shots, Alexis captured our reception in the ballroom at The Olde Pink House perfectly. She caught our guests mingling, talking and dancing, she got photos of everyone giving toasts and the crowd reactions; again she captured all of the design details, including leaves we had projected on the dance floor, which must have been a challenge because the lighting in the ballroom varied, but you cannot tell from the photos. She also got all of our big reception events, including the first dance, toasts as I said before, cake cutting, bouquet toss, garter toss and exit with bubbles. Alexis is professional but very down-to-earth and easy to talk to. She is flexible with shots if you let her know what you are looking for and also our package included an engagement shoot, which we didn't use because we were a destination wedding couple, so instead she substituted a coffee table book. She is also a great value because her price was the lowest of several photographers we checked out, not to mention at least $1500 less than a few photographers my friends had recently used for their weddings, and her work was superior to theirs. You get what you pay for and then some. We are very happy with our photos and would recommend Alexis to anyone to photograph on of the most important days of your life.
