Alex and team were AMAZING!!! Alex did my hair and makeup for the rehearsal dinner (half up look) and Alex/Ashley/Anica did hair/makeup the day of (bun) and I was OBSESSED with both looks. I got so many compliments about how pretty but natural I looked. I feel it’s hard to get unanimous approval on hair and makeup from the wedding party, but ALL my bridesmaids and the MOB and MOG were happy. Alex and team know how to work with a person’s preferences. As a bride, I went with an elevated natural look and it exceeded my expectations. I looked like myself and felt like myself, and received tons of compliments from guests. You must get Alex for your own wedding!!

Alex and her team were wonderful to work with leading up to and on my wedding day. I was drawn to Alex's natural, glowy style in her portfolio. During my trial with Alex and Ashley B., they were both extremely thorough in asking about my vision for my look and giving me advice for skin and hair prep leading up to the wedding. Alex was responsive and easy to communicate with, and she and her team expertly tackled my large wedding party on the day of. Several of my bridesmaids said that this was the best hair and makeup they had received from another person, and I agree! I can't thank them enough for their amazing work.

As I write this about 9 months too late after my wedding, I still can't shake the feeling of how grateful I was to have Alexandra (Make Up) and Lani (Hair) as a team joining me and my bridal party on our wedding day.
Alexandra took the 5 months leading up to my wedding to check in on my skin care routine, make suggestions, recommend facialists and ultimately I came to wedding day with clear, dewy moisturized skin all thanks to her recommendations. She essentially helped me find the solution to clear up some dry areas I had been battling for a while. Which is totally outside of the scope of what I would imagine my make up artists to do. But she was passionate about this aspect and preparing your skin for make up on wedding day! Then on day of, she and Lani not only helped manage the chaos that ultimately happens in a wedding suite, but kept me feeling calm, special and listened to. They helped me unwind, relax and live in the moment as they did my HMU in a timely fashion leading up to our first look. In addition to LOVING my hair and make up that they did, they took the time to help my bridesmaids, my mother, MIL and step mom along with my grandmother who was in another wing of the hotel. They stuck around for a bit longer than we asked them too and even though we were running behind schedule and made everyone involved feel and look their best!!
I appreciated the relationship I built with both of the women during my wedding planning and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in the North East (because they live there and around Boston) but also beyond. I found Alexandra when I was looking for someone to do my make up for my engagement pictures. Immediately I knew I needed her for my wedding day! She walked me through everything. Helping with what I should do for skin prep leading up to the wedding and helping me decide what to do for a look. I felt completely at ease knowing I was in her hands. My bridesmaids were so impressed and loved all of their looks. It was a 10/10 experience.

I was an older bride (68 yo). I wanted to look radiant and fabulous on my wedding day. An acquaintance recommended Alexandra's services. I couldn't have been happier with my choice. My two dear friends, my 14 yo granddaughter and I looked wonderful on my special day. Each of us had very different expectations of what looking wonderful meant. Alexandra made it happen for each of us!!!

I was absolutely wonderful working with Alexandra and her staff. Alexandra was extremely responsive and made everything stress free. We worked with Katie for makeup and Edilaine for hair, and they were both AMAZING. Very skilled, but also just lovely people to be around.

Katie was amazing, understood exactly what I wanted (glow-y, natural-ish, best version of myself), and I absolutely loved my wedding makeup. Everyone who got their makeup done was thrilled, and looks ranged from understated to full glam, and she did it all. The makeup was also equally great for all ages - from 20s skin to more mature skin. And it photographed great!

Edilaine was equally wonderful. My original pan for hair fell through and I reached out to Alexandra last minute to see if she had anyone available. I am very lucky that Edilaine was! We never got to do a trial, but through email and pictures, the day went smoothly, and my hair was exactly what I wanted. We had a wide range of hair types, and everyone's hair turned out wonderful.

Overall, I can't recommend them more!

Where do I even begin! My husband and I planned our small wedding in a pretty short timeframe and I feel so lucky that Alexandra and Ashley were free to do my and my bridal party’s hair and makeup. Leading up to the wedding Alexandra was communicative and helped guide me through every step of the process just based on scattered mood board I sent her. I initially did not feel like I needed a trial but I am so glad I did because she suggested little pearls to put in my hair that made the whole look and admittedly I don’t know if I would have been in a place mentally to add anything new to the mix on the actual big day. Alexandra absolutely made my 60s bride dreams come true. She also was such a calming presence throughout the whole day. She made sure I was comfortable and not feeling too overwhelmed as I am not a fan of being the center of attention (and that’s hard to avoid on your wedding day!) We even ended up doing some breathing exercises together! I also can’t say enough about Ashley. She was so fun to be around and did an amazing job on everyone’s hair! The whole day was filled with laughter and love but Alexandra and Ashley helped us start out on the right foot laughing along with us. Absolutely a 14/10 experience.

Makeup trial - Alexandra absolutely wowed both me and my mom during our makeup trial. Her charisma and expertise made the conversation easy and our time flew by. Alexandra asked me questions about my regular routine, what I wanted to look like on the day, and made recommendations for my sensitive skin based on her background as an esthetician. I also really appreciated Alexandra's followup and communication. At every point she opened the door for feedback to ensure we were always on the same page and I was feeling great about how I'd look on my wedding day. I left the trial feeling incredible and like I had learned a ton in our time together.

Wedding Day - Alexandra and her team arrived promptly and were clear in all communications with me and my mom about the day. She coordinated a schedule for hair and makeup well in advance and we were right on time all day! After the bridal party and mothers of the bride and groom were completed, my 96 year old grandmother even decided she wanted her makeup done too because everyone else looked so great!

Everyone looked fantastic and we all agreed it was the best experience we'd ever had getting our makeup done. I cannot recommend Alexandra at her team highly enough!
