Alexander’s Station Steakhouse and Event Center, based in Nevada City, California, is a family-run company that welcomes all to their restaurant and event center. Chef Vincent and his wife Lisa run the establishment with their son Ryan. The steakhouse and its two wedding suites were founded in 2020, surrounded by seven acres of forested land. The owners source their meat and produce from their very own farm and strive to create delicious meals using sustainable habits. Facilities and Capacity
Alexander Station has two stunning wedding venues for your big day: Gold Rush Falls and Upper Meadow. Gold Rush Falls combines rustic railcars with leafy green nature to create a time capsule to the railway age. This intimate setting can seat up to 100 guests during your outdoor ceremony. Alternatively, you can exchange your vows inside the railcar for a unique nuptial celebration. The Upper Meadow can hold up to 500 guests for a larger gathering. This area spans several acres with incredible views of the Sierra Forest. The Upper Meadow makes for ideal outdoor dining, with exceptional buffet reception to reconnect the senses to nature.

You and your partner can have an all-inclusive wedding ceremony and reception at either Gold Rush Falls or the Upper Meadow. The team offers both dinner service and classic buffet options for you and your loved ones. You can dine inside the restaurant or outside in a patio reception at Gold Rush Falls or outdoors in the meadow. Chef Alexander began his formal training at the prestigious California Culinary Academy where he graduated first in his class earning the founders award for culinary excellence. He began an externship at Fleur de Lys under the direction of famed Chef Hubert Keller. While working dinners at Fleur de Lys he began a stage at Wolfgang Pucks restaurant Postrio.
He and his wife, Lisa were looking for the perfect location to open a fine dining restaurant that also had the capacity for weddings and special events and found the perfect location.
