The Dallas Woman’s Forum, Alexander Mansion has long been a Dallas favorite for weddings and receptions.
The stately mansion at 4607 Ross Avenue is one of the very few architecturally authentic buildings remaining in our city. Originally built in 1904 by Charles H. Alexander at a cost of $125,000.00, this dignified home is exceptionally well-proportioned of English-inspired architecture with a neoclassical influence.
The house has both a Bride’s room and a Groom’s room for the convenience of the wedding party.
The ballroom will seat 100 guests comfortably with a dance floor. The entire house will easily accommodate 150-175 guests.
We have an approved caterers list and we do allow you to bring your own alcoholic beverages to be served by a TABC-certified bartender on the caterer’s staff.

Nice place! What gear do you use, by the way? I wanted photo session in this place! My retoucher at http://wedding-retouching.com uses similar techniques, I guess. I always outsource photo correction. This wedding photo editing service helps me a great deal with their online photo retouching. I like that I always deal with one and the same professional picture editor. He knows my tastes now pretty good, there is even no need to explain much what I want. He already knows the drill.

This venue is beautiful. It's a two story old mansion with a ballroom upstairs. We got married on the grand staircase off the foyer in a standing wedding. The price includes white table cloths, plates, and silverware. We were allowed an hour for a dress rehearsal and we got into the building 3 hours early.

There were alot of rules. For instance, we couldn't move the brides cake from downstairs to upstairs. There is a small list of caterers that you must choose from, and they were quite pricy.

This is a very DIY place, if you're a DIY bride you'll be fine. :)
