Looking for the perfect space to host your next wedding, reunion, party, or meeting? Various rooms are available for rent at the Senior Recreation Center. The center has large and small classrooms as well as a spacious, modern and beautifully decorated Multipurpose Room perfect for large special occasions with a full-service kitchen, perfect for caterers. All spaces require a $200 refundable deposit in addition to half the cost of the rental fee upon reservation. Available rental hours for all spaces are 8 a.m. to 2 a.m., seven days a week. Kevin is the best. He will work with you with what ever you may need. The best way to contact him is by email. He has been helping me along the way from me only having my reception here to changing my mind to do and all in one at the center. He was there to answer any question and provide whatever help he could. I deiced to only have my reception here only because I have 240 people and to flip that room with that amount of people would be too much on my staff. But Kevin is there for whatever you may need.

This place is beautiful, and easily the best value for a venue of this size. Everyone was professional, and we were always treated with so much kindness when visiting. The plus is that you're free to use any caterer and other vendors you like. They made my day very special, and my guests enjoyed everything. The only thing that would make it better is if they gave the building a prettier name, lol ;-)

Really great space and was very accommodating. They're a non-profit so you really got more bang for your buck than anywhere else in Gainesville. They set up all your tables and chairs for no additional charge. The space is beautiful and includes a kitchen for your caterers to use.
