Two of my sisters used Al Sofia for their wedding so I knew I was getting the best! Al is very easy going and easy to work with. Al and his band played a good mix of oldies and current music and made sure to include my requests! Our dance floor was never empty...he kept everyone entertained the whole night!! Al made our wedding so memorable an experience that no one will ever forget! I highly recommend!!!

Al Sofia is the go-to guy if you want classy, upscale party music at your wedding. I've been to a few of his weddings besides my own and the dance floor is always full because he plays music that EVERYBODY will like and can dance to, from the flower girl to your grandmother. His sets are a mix of modern pop, oldies, classic rock, and a little bit of everything, basically. He's very open to suggestions and will learn any song you want! He has an amazing voice and a he's a super-polished MC as well. We got tons of compliments!

Al Sofia was amazing, his voice is so beautiful and the band was fantastic. Al Sofia is so professional, we did not have to worry about the band at all. Al is very organized and was able to pronounce several difficult names correctly. The dance floor was full all night, our guests are still raving about the band. We had a blast at our wedding, and we can't thank the Al Sofia Band enough.

I am a "MOB" and when my daughter got engaged she and her fiancee immediately told us that they already knew what band they wanted for their wedding.... Al Sofia! They are on the wedding circuit now with so many of their friends getting married so they have heard and been at 10 weddings so far this year. They only wanted Al Sofia as their band because "we want everyone on the dance floor all night long" Even though my husband and I would have liked to have explored other band options we went along with their choice and had absolutely no regrets! Yes they were a little pricier than most bands but if you want a band that will bring everyone out on the dance floor and have the dance floor packed the entire night...this is the band!! The band is very important in creating the type of fun atmosphere you want at your wedding. Al Sofia has been in the industry a very long time...he is very knowledgeable, responsive, kind, personable, and truly wants your night to be special. Even my 9 year old niece felt comfortable going up to him and requesting her favorite song! We had a "dance off" between the bride and grooms family which was a huge hit!
Even some of the grooms family was allowed to go up and play a song and that was very special!
As a Mom of the Bride...I would highly recommend Al Sofia for your child's wedding! He also doesn't require a "wedding meal" - just a sandwich and chips are fine with him and his 11 piece band! So many people are still talking about "our band at the wedding" - they made our daughters wedding perfect!

The dance floor was rocking, Al and team did a great job with the crowd. Could have gone for another hour as the attendees were so engaged!

Al and his band were nothing short of amazing. Our guests kept coming up to us throughout the night and complimenting us on our band choice. Al Sofia's music really helped create a fun and relaxing atmosphere for everyone in attendance and my wife and I are very pleased with our decision. If you're still up in the air about your wedding band, you can't go wrong with Al.

Al Sofia was a huge hit at our wedding. They are pricey (probably the most expensive vendor at our wedding minus the country club itself) but if you can afford it splurge on them!! They are fabulous. We had a huge dancefloor and it was packed the entire night. We have gotten compliments since then about how much everyone loved them. They get a playlist from you and then also play other music of their choosing. And it's a good variety so people of all ages can enjoy!

There are no words to describe or do justice to just how fantastic The Al Sofia band is. I can honestly say that the music was absolutely amazing and the compliments we received were consistent and incredibly complimentary.

Al is such a great guy, easy to work with and very patient ! He has great knowledge in the field and his advice is spot on.

Al Sofia is a great guy! He was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. Both my older sister (who was married 10 + years ago) and I have used the Al Sofia Band at our weddings and he still knows how to get every guest on the dance floor whether they be young or old! We had a little under 300 guests at our wedding and I can honestly say that at one point of the night I think everyone was on the dance floor! He plays everything! In fact, he went above and beyond to learn my husband and I's first dance and it was amazing... More than we could have asked for! Not only was Al amazing but his band members as well. The two girls he has singing beside him have the best vocals!

Al Sofia is the best orchestra in Chicago! My fiancé and I looked at all the top rated bands for our wedding and choosing al Sofia was a no brainer. They were excellent! All my guests were complimenting how good they were and had a blast at the wedding. Al is awesome to work with. He helps you plan your agenda so that you have the perfect wedding night. He is great with suggestions and really cares about making your night special and unique. I am not familiar with music and instruments and he really guides you to what you need and don't need to make the band sound awesome! I loved working with al and would definitely use him again for future events!
