Ever since my sister’s wedding 15 years ago I knew when the day came I would want John Coyne to DJ my wedding which he did last month. Music and dancing are very important to me and I knew I didn’t have to worry about them if John did our wedding. Several people have told us that our wedding was the most fun wedding they have ever been to and I think a lot of that reason is because of John’s fantastic skills. He is a wonderful MC and knows how to energize a crowd. He has done a great job at other family and friends’ weddings that I have been to as well. It was so easy to use his online program to pick out music and organize the event announcements. His photo booth was a huge hit and I am going to treasure those photos forever. The backgrounds to choose from were gorgeous and the ability to text the photos immediately was appreciated. He added a special flair to the mix and he handled a minor hiccup with grace when my mother-in-law encountered an issue with her first dance with my husband. He seamlessly adjusted our schedule and ensured a fantastic time for all. I also know John from him hosting karaoke at various venues that I went to on a weekly basis for years. He is professional but also someone I love spending time with due to his wit and friendly nature. He carefully considered all of our song requests and made fantastic playlists for the cocktail hour, dinner service, and best of all, the dance floor. My husband and I hired John from Absolute Disc Jockey to DJ our wedding in 2005. I was looking for a DJ who also offered karaoke services and was referred to him. From the getgo, he was friendly, professional, polite and accommodating. He allowed us to come see him DJ a couple other weddings before committing. He wears a tux and fits right in. He was able to play the music we requested plus he played ethnic music we supplied from both my husband's and my culture for special dances. He is a great MC, knows how to keep the hosts of the party happy as well as the guests by taking requests. Since then he has DJd two other friends' weddings. I still keep up with John on Facebook and go to his karaoke nights when I can after all these years. When I go to karaoke nights I find out there are a few others whose weddings he DJd as well. I'd say that is customer satisfaction! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ.

We met John from Absolute Disc Jockey several years ago at the For Julie Foundation events. We loved the fact that John donated his time to DJ for such a great foundation dear to our family for many, many years. In 2012, we used Absolute Disc Jockey for our wedding DJ. The music was incredible during the entire reception! It was obvious John knew how to keep the energy alive. All ages were having a great time dancing to his music! People still to this day say how much fun the reception was. John even coordinated with 3 of my friends to sing to me as a surprise. It was amazing and the guests thoroughly enjoyed watching-as did I!

I have known John Coyne for over twenty years and I have seen him in multiple D.J. capacities: He was Karaoke D.J. for over eight years at a restaurant/tavern in Skokie where I worked.
