My Mom LOVES Abba Day Spa in Sherwood. She gets her pedicure there, has facials...she's a regular customer and always raves about the services there. About 3 weeks before my wedding she was there for a pedicure and was talking to the owner and she suggested using one of their makeup artists. I am not a fan of getting my makeup done, ever. It always looks over done, too much lip liner, too much shaddow...etc. But they say you need to wear more makeup than normal for your wedding day so I said I'd go for a trial.

The makeup artist was Abby. She is fantastic! She doesn't use lip liner (thank god!) and she customized the makeup to make me look gorgeous but not overly done. For my trial she used a cream foundation and powder and we decided the cream was too heavy. I was worried about huge makeup streaks down my face from crying (I ball at every wedding so I knew I'd cry at my own) but the powder just set perfectly. You couldn't even tell I had huge streams of happy tears after the ceremony!
