About

A Wedding by Summers was formed by Randy and Robin Summers, a husband and wife wedding officiant team, who would be honored to be chosen as your marriage ministers for your very special wedding day. We are passionate and proud of the services we offer to our couples, as they prepare for their wedding day and the pathway to 'happily ever after', as they begin their new lives together as a married couple.

Randy and Robin are officially ordained and licensed wedding officiants in the states of Pennsylvania and Maryland, with many years of professional experience in creating and performing your customized ceremony for your wedding or marriage vow renewals. We do consider each wedding request, in or out of our area, so please feel free to give us a call.

I was fortunate enough to work along side these lovely people at a wedding last year, but this review is to acknowledge and thank the Summers for taking good care of my daughter, who very secretly, eloped last year. There is ONE picture of the ceremony, taken by Mrs Summers which I will always be thankful for!! They told me the ceremony was EXACTLY what they wanted and that was in large part thanks to you. As much as I would have loved to have been there, I could not be more thrilled that they chose to do things their own way and that you helped them achieve that!

Customized Ceremony by Kind People

Robin and Randy provided us with the perfect wedding ceremony, customized to our beliefs with some fun touches of our relationship. We had a nice sit-down with them where we discussed what we were looking for, and they gave us different options and ideas for the ceremony piece by piece until it was a perfect fit for us. For everything from the vows to opening remarks, they had options ranging from very traditional to contemporary and fun, so they can definitely build a ceremony custom to the desired tone of your wedding. Plus, they're very warm and easy to talk to, easy to get ahold of, and have very fair pricing. I couldn't have dreamed of a better ceremony!

Easy to work with, perfect day!!

We had Randy as the officiant to our wedding on 8/22/20! I really could not have imagined our ceremony going any other way! He was so organized, made sure everything ran and flowed smoothly, and communicated with my other vendors to make sure everyone was all on the same page! They will create a ceremony for you that is exactly to your liking, which I loved because it captured everything we wanted!! We included the wine box love letter exchange which they recommended to us that is new! We loved it and got so many compliments on how different it was! Randy and Robin were so easy to work with, down to earth, and I would recommend them to anyone getting married in a heartbeat!!! :)

Wonderful Ceremony and very friendly

Robin and Randy made it very easy for my Husband and I to come up with a ceremony that was meaningful and special to us. They made great suggestions to include everything we wanted and were extremely easy to work with. They responded very quickly to any questions I had. Randy was very helpful during our rehearsal/ceremony and made everything happen quickly and smoothly!

The Summers were Amazing!!! We required a very quick ring ceremony (fter our wedding ceremony for our guests was completed..) we needed to make it official in the state of PA. They were there and ready to go, knowing our timing needed to be fast. It was such a special moment and I loved having them share it with us. The response time is quick, they are willing to work with you and just want you to be happy and married! Recommend over and over!

Wonderful officiant!

Working with Randy and Robin was incredible! They worked with us to create the wedding ceremony we wanted, accommodated our requests to add special touches such as a Spanish blessing and personalized vow cards. When I walked down the aisle, the first thing I saw was my husband crying. The second was Randy’s smiling face, putting me at ease and assuring me I was doing fine! They were so professional, mailed our marriage license back to the county quickly and even wrote us a personal thank you thanking US for allowing THEM to be a part of our day. Robin was always quick to respond to my emails. I can’t thank Randy and Robin enough for their professionalism and compassion on our big day!

I highly recommend Randy and Robin Summers to be your wedding officiant! They make a great team! They were a recommended vendor at our ceremony/reception place. We met them one morning for breakfast where they got to know a little more about my husband and I. Robin had the whole ceremony planned within a few days after meeting! Almost a year later the wedding came and it was a cold, rainy day in May. The forecast looked like it was going to clear up so we pushed the ceremony back a half hour. A half hour went by and the rain did not stop. We still decided to do our ceremony outside. Randy and Robin stood outside in the rain and 50 degree weather and did not complain once!!! Not many people would do that! They were easy, outgoing people to work with and I highly recommend them to any bride and groom!

The Summers were amazing to work with, and really added a special touch to our Wedding Day! Even though we weren't getting married in a church, I still wanted a soft, personal and spiritual touch to our day. After looking for almost 2 months, I was not having much luck finding a pastor or someone within our church to perform the service. So when I accepted that I had to get an officiant, they were the first people I thought of. I worked with them for a wedding at my venue (I am an event and wedding planner.), and thought of them instantly. I reached out to them immediately, and within a couple of hours I had them booked, and it felt right! They were so sweet and easy to work with, and gave me great ideas. The day of the wedding, they took care of everything, and it was perfect! I will always recommend them to anyone, especially my clients!
