Stan services were impeccable. I was a little nervous hiring sight unseen but the team arrived on time and were dressed for the occasion. I hired the amazing 3 string quartet to play classical music during the wedding and smooth jazz during the cocktail hour. I also asked stan for the AMAZING opera singer Joy Tepedino to sing "O mio babbino caro" while i walked down the aisle. I was highly impressed by joy's beautiful voice and the AMAZING quartet as well as the sound of the acoustics in the room. His impressive team really gave the wedding class and rave reviews from my guest. I will recommend stan to any one.

Dan the DJ was great! He really made the day special for us and was really keen to check in with us to ensure the music was to our taste and take any guidance regarding song choices. I can honestly say he was a great guy and did a really, fantastic job. We also had a harpist for our wedding ceremony through Stan. The harpist was just amazing and made our ceremony and cocktail hour so lovely, romantic and beautiful! Unfortunately neither of us can remember her name but she was lovely and did a fantastic job during the ceremony and cocktail hour. She kicked off the event in style!

For our wedding at Coindre Hall, we hired ceremony music (cello/violin duet), DJ/MC (Ralph) for reception and piano for cocktail hour from Stan. We also rented LED uplighting to decorate the venue and a mic for ceremony.
While we were a little nervous at first hiring the ceremony musicians without seeing them or interviewing them first, they turned out fine, came on time and performed great and as directed. Stan himself played piano during our cocktail hour and it perfectly complemented our setting and the sound was great as well as song selection.
We want to especially praise DJ Ralph who was very personable and nice in every instance of our communication before the wedding. And although we didn't get to meet in person prior to the wedding (due to busy schedules), we spoke on the phone several times and emailed back and forth and Ralph listened to our multiple instructions and requests and implemented them during the reception just as we asked him. We created our own playlist, as well as the order the songs should be played, and Ralph followed it to the dot and didn't deviate, which we really appreciated.
We also hired a singer (on our own) who used Ralph's equipment and the only two issues we had was when the singer was performing in the dining room, the sound didn't carry well (those were separate speakers from the dance floor and i'm guessing they were either set on a low volume or were just not strong enough for the purpose intended) and there were a few occasional mic malfunctions when the singer was singing. Other than that, we were pleased with everything and would definitely recommend Ralph to other couples.

We had an okay experience with Stan. Stan is a bit dated. He had all VHS tapes of weddings or showcases that he showed us. His website is difficult to navigate and just has tons and tons or irrelevant info on it and his emails are the same.

He is wonderful on the piano – he played for us at his house. He spoke to us like if we booked with him, he would be the one playing piano (“when I play, I….”). Not once, did he ever say that it might not be him (which would have been okay). Our issues started when I told him 2 weeks after signing our contract and paying the deposit, that I wanted to adjust the services. Seems like a pretty simply request, as I was still using his other services that we contracted for: piano for cocktail hour, DJ, and uplighting. This turned into a big problem and my coordinator finally took over for me. I started to get this bad gut feeling with him at this point. More issues came about and we decided to end our contract with Stan. We still wanted to use the piano services, since we had basically paid for it already. And to no one's surprise, he was not the person who would be playing the piano for us, like he led us to believe. While the piano for the day was good (so i was told, i don't actually remember it at all), i would not recommend any services other than live music.

Stan was great when we met with him. Very nice man. This is nothing against Stan as a person.
However he promised from the very start that they were the only DJ company who would let you choose ALL of your songs or they would give you a "free" wedding. This is one of the biggest reasons I went with Stan. A month after we sent him our song list(Also a month before the wedding) he calls in a panic telling us we had too many songs and we needed to break it down to 20 must play songs by the next day. We had spent hours picking our songs and now had to break it down to 20. So I did and sent it to him that same day. After all of that the DJ plays maybe 5 of our must play songs and decides to play whatever he wanted for the rest of the night. It was our wedding and we were paying for OUR choice of songs to be played. It was very disappointing. The DJ was also VERY loud.
I had to ask him a few times to turn it down but it barely made a difference. If your looking to choose your own music I would not recommend Stan Weist Music.

Short version of our lengthy review- I asked the DJ why he left my wife and I hanging for almost 6 minutes without inviting anyone onto the dancefloor to dance with us in which he replied, "I'm sorry, I didn't think of it I guess I forgot". My dad started speaking about the sound quality of the system and how something needed to be done because we had a family of musicians and it sounded horrendous, you couldn't even make out any of the words in the songs. Charlie's reply was that my Dad could go back there if he wanted to adjust the settings. My dad explained that he didn't know how to appropriately adjust all of the different controls/levels. He then said, "well if you don't like the sound I could just pack up and go home". At this point I had enough with Charlie, his eyes were bugged out, his speech was slurred and his head barely looked up from behind his dj stand. I asked him if he was sober in which he replied " uhh yeah i'm sober" even when he said that he sounded messed up.
I immediately demanded to speak to Dan at the pavilion who was walking around trying to make sure everything else was going on track. I told Dan that he needed to call Stan immediately and that the DJ was out of control. When he asked me what was wrong I stated that he clearly wasn't sober. Dan's reply to me was "I was talking to him earlier I didn't smell alcohol on his breath" I told him that didn't matter, and told him the short version of what had just happened between him and my father and I and that he said "I don't understand he hasn't had a drink in months"- 1/3 of our guests were bored and left early. Stan came to try to damage control. Didn't help. our wedding was ruined. Our main thing we wanted was good music and everyone dancing. Instead we had lame music, everything ignored on our lengthy questionnaire that we filled out ahead of time, and was sick staring at our DJ that finally played good music 1hr before the end when my bridal party dictated every song to play
