I used A Rae of Light for my June 9 wedding and she was wonderful! I hired her partial planning service and it ended up being exactly what I needed, as a fairly self-driven type A bride who did not live in the city (Birmingham) where my wedding was happening. Raven served as essential eyes and ears throughout the process. She had great recommendations for venues and vendors, and was able to use her connections to get some discounts and deals for us, which as a budget-conscious bride I really appreciated!!! She also gave us a great recommendation for our afterparty, and was extremely patient as I went back-and-forth on whether to implement our heat plan (ended up going with our Plan A and it was beautiful!). Most importantly, she communicated well with us and helped implement our vision for what we wanted for the wedding rather than imposing her ideas. The wedding day was amazingly stress-free and it was all because of her! I highly highly recommend working with her!

We got married 10/9/21. From the first day I reached out to A Rae of Light I felt sooooo relieved. She immediately setup an appointment to meet and discuss what is it I want. What is I need. What was my vision. Oh, and we met at thr location of my choice. Everything was literally based around me. She listened to me (being that I was becoming Bridezilla) but not one time did that affect her professionalism. She remained professional at all times and her tone never changed no matter how crazy my anxiety was. She also gave me really good advice once we met at the venue about the setup and design. She was in direct contact with all vendors with arrival and setup information. Saying she's organized is an understatement. When I say notepad, highlighter, binder, folder, business cards, minutes from previous meeting etc. She did not miss a beat. So moving forward with the rehearsal and day of the wedding let me tell you all, a piece of cake. All I had to do was get in my dress and meet my husband honey. I had absolutely no worries at all. I will recommend her without any hesitation. Professional. Soft Spoken. Organized. On Time. She listens. And do way more than what's being asked and I will forever be appreciative and Thankful for A Rae of Light Services. My Big Day was a Success!!
