Laurent spent one hour shooting my small, intimate evening wedding at Balboa Park and managed to capture some extraordinary shots. Lighting was used effectively and many techniques​ were utilized to enhance each shot. Both narrow and wide depths of field were used to blur the background while keeping the foreground in focus and vice versa. Overall, we love our photographs and would highly recommend Petal of Light.

They seemed very experienced and they were listening to us. They also helped us adjust our schedule to dedicate appropriate time to photography. On our wedding day, they were very professional, organized, and not intrusive during most of the time except for the bride and groom pictures and family pictures when they were directing us and came up with lots of ideas for posing and scenery. It was very easy to book with Petal of Light. The follow up was great prior to and after our wedding, the photographer was punctual and very professional and best of all it was affordable. Would not hesitate to book these guys again. Oh, and I forgot to mention, our pictures turned out amazing!

Petal of Light was a fantastic choice for our wedding photographer.
They were extremely punctual, both in person and via email. They were organized and thorough and the turn around time for getting the photos back to us was fast. From a photography standpoint, both myself and my husband, as well as our friends and family, love the photos. There is a mix of candid and posed pictures, and they captured all of the important moments. I also noticed that he is very particular about lighting, which shows on the photos that they produce.
They went out of their way to make our sessions seamless and fun, getting everyone involved. Very easy to work with, and accommodating.
