YOU NEED CHERI. I don't even understand how she manages to make food so darn good! She utilizes only the freshest, organic, local ingredients. Her staff are actually the sweetest human beings. When I was getting ready for my wedding day, they constantly were getting me and my wedding party food and drinks so that we stayed nourished and hydrated so we had the perfect day. Everyone RAVED about the food and this comes from a family of food snobs. There wasn't one dish that people skipped by. BOOK A BIG SUR AFFAIR RIGHT NOW. You will have the most magical food experience.

Cheri and her team are great. They were on top of every detail for our wedding. The food was particularly outstanding: oysters, crab cakes, lemon risotto--Cheri does it all flawlessly. She is simply the best.

A Big Sur Affair handled the catering and day of coordination for our wedding in Big Sur at Point 16. From the beginning, Cheri was amazing. I swear she is an absolute saint - quickly answering my repeated and often lengthy questions. Her assistant Ashley is equally wonderful and made sure that everything was in place the day before and day of the wedding. The two of them truly made our wedding day vision a reality ... I'm still blown away at how it all came together!

The catering was fabulous! I really need Cheri's recipe for the butternut squash risotto ... I could live off it. Our guests are still raving about how the delicious appetizers and buffet spread. We absolutely love that everything is organic, locally sourced, and fresh from the farmers market! It truly is made with love :)

There are no words to express how Big Sur Affair (and Cheri to be specific) help create the most amazing wedding I could have imagined. The food was incredible (hard to believe wedding food can be good!) and her attention to detail was flawless. Can't say enough about Big Sur Affair - they are amazing!!

Do it. Just do it. Book Cheri Gladstone, A Big Sur Affair and Point 16. The venue is gorgeous, Cheri and Ashley are absolutely wonderful and the food is so delicious.

Cheri and her team are absolutely amazing and so professional. They will make your event spectacular! I wanted to be very hands off on my wedding day and I felt so comfortable letting Cheri make all the little choices and set everything up. I highly recommend A Big Sur Affair!

Extremely unprofessional. We emailed Cheri to book Point 16 for our wedding, since we were over the capacity permitted at Post Ranch Inn which has been our first choice but which only accepts 20 people. Our date was on a Monday a year and a half from now. She initially emailed back and the venue was available (obviously, a Monday that far ahead, which any other venue would be eager to get booked since Mondays usually remain open) and the price worked for us. However, when we emailed back with questions about some details like did she have a picture of the facilities for freshening up, she failed to respond. We booked elsewhere instead. Looking at reviews, it sounds like this is not a unique occurrence.

A Big Sur Affair is obviously an amateur job, I don't know why anyone would trust someone as unprofessional as Cheri to handle their wedding. Glad we found out before paying them money!
