We were blown away by our wedding cake and the beautiful cupcakes we ordered from A Baked Romance! It was gorgeous, the butter cream was decadent, and most importantly, our guests loved and raved how delicious both the cake and the cupcakes were (and the most asked questions that night was, “where did you get these?!”). The cupcakes ran out before dessert started, and the only reason we got any leftovers, were we had the staff box up a portion of the cake to eat later that night. We savored every morsel! While I understand owner Joshua may be pursuing other passions, we hope that his amazing cakes/cupcakes and designing genius will continue to bless future clients!

Josh is extremely talented and was up for the challenge to work on a cake design that I had difficulty finding a baker to take on! Josh took on the work without hesitation. His pricing is reasonable! He is super personable and a pleasure to work with! He is such a sweetheart and I highly recommend him! He came through and he created a masterpiece for my wedding! Everything turned out perfect!

To my husband and I and lots of our friends, Josh is THE best baker in the world. :) We showed him a complicated picture of a Super Mario cake we wanted and he made it a thousand times even more awesome than the picture and what we imagined it to be. And it was sooo yummy!! We had a guava cake with lilikoi and haupia frosting. Each bite was heaven. We are so happy and grateful that he was able to bake our one and only wedding cake.

Joshua is AMAZING and his cakes are even better!!! He is so easy to work with. We ordered guava with strawberry filling and chocolate kahlua with cream cheese filling. The chocolate was good but the guava just blew us (and everyone else) away! Super moist and so addicting. We ordered a simple two-tier with buttercream frosting and it looked so great! We would definitely, hands down recommend A Baked Romance, but I think he is putting his baking career on hold soon to explore his other talents. Thank you, Joshua and A Baked Romance, for the most delicious wedding cake EVER!

Better late than never - but I had to be sure my review came through for this amazing company. The owner, Josh was amazing to work with...and not to mention is cakes and frosting were to DIE FOR!!!!! I always hear horror stories about wedding cakes tasting bland...not these guys. They tolally make me want to use them for other occasions just so I can eat their cake. They work well with our budget and do an exceptional job. I wanted my cake to almost look like my wedding invitation, and he made it happen. I'm so grateful to have met them!

We're so happy we found Josh! Our wedding cake was beyond perfect and delicious. He remained professional from the very beginning and always was prompt in his responses after the million of emails we sent back & forth asking about all sorts of details. We knew we wanted Josh to make our wedding cake at the initial tasting after having licked clean all his frosting samples he created for us. All our guests were in awe at the reception and had nothing but wonderful things to say about how much they enjoyed the cake. My hubby & I were stoked when we found out that the hotel had actually boxed up the top tier for us (we hadn't specified if we wanted it & actually planned for it to be all sliced for our guests). The cake was devoured that week, and we have no regrets. Thank you Josh for hearing all our ideas and suggestions and for creating my 'bling' dream wedding cake. We will remember it forever and have the beautiful photos to cherish forever and of course order random cupcakes just 'cause' when we feel like having some delicious sweets.

Josh is AMAZING! His cakes are just as beautiful as they taste! I'm going to use him for everything!

What can we say about Josh at A Baked Romance other than LOVE. His work is out of this world. Super talented, innovative, creative... and then to top it off... DELICIOUS. All of our communication was via email. We were a little nervous to hire a baker without a taste test but since he came so highly recommended by our venue, we went ahead with it. Oh. My. Goodness. Our only regret is not ordering MORE cupcakes! Just thinking of them now makes us want to hop on a plane and go back to Hawaii just to be able to taste another one.
Josh was extremely pleasant to work with. The cake topper that was ordered was a custom created surprise for the bride and groom. Josh allowed the topper to be shipped to his house and he delivered the entire cake to the venue the morning of the event. We never got to meet him face to face but if we had, he would have gotten a huge hug and high five!

Met Dominic at the bridal expo and Josh presented at our tasting, what a great team and such delicious cake!!! We had to save two cupcakes before they were served our event because our guests ate them so quickly! Our cupcake cake looked amazing and so elegant. Delivered on time, maintained so well at the outdoor event, tasted delicious, and easy to return the cake stand. Highly recommend A Baked Romance!!!

I cant explain how great josh and his team is!!! Excellence customer service, and beautiful results. My wedding cake was one of the highlights of my wedding reception. It was exactly what I wanted!
