While working our 9-5 jobs in the digital creative and multimedia industry, we started capturing weddings as small favors on the side. We quickly realized that there was never a shortage of video production demand in the DMV area, and as Cinematic Wedding Films slowly gained popularity, there weren't too many quality wedding cinematographers outside of engaged couples' uncles and their handicams. After receiving numerous praises for our work and more requests to shoot weddings, we've decided to join forces and established 8 media group in 2014.

We have since grown simply by word-of-mouth and to our surprise, even won a WeddingWire Couples Choice Award in 2017 with little to no serious marketing efforts. This proved to us that not only did our videos resonate with any viewer, but combined with our cool, calm, and collected personalities (as we've been told in high-stress situations), we had something really valuable to offer. Now we're finally taking our passions to the next level to make a mark in the world while staying true to the qualities that got us this far.
