6th & River is a timeless multi-use event venue located in Honesdale, Pennsylvania and serving the Scranton area. Nestled in this historic small town, the venue is a two-hour drive from New York and just under a three-hour from Philadelphia.
Facilities and Capacity
Overlooking the Lackawaxen river, this spacious historic building can accommodate events from 50 to 200 guests. With expansive views through the multitude of windows, you and our guests can bask in natural light, offering gorgeous photo opportunities. The industrial roots combined with modernized fixtures bring a unique feel to the venue. Cathedral ceilings and open beams offer a vast and open air feel; the exposed brick ties in a cozy ambiance of warmth. With more than 4,000 square feet of venue space, the timeless elements and unlimited styling options will help to bring your wedding vision to life. Alternatively, a range of church and chapel options are conveniently located near the venue for your ceremony needs. Located near to the venue, your out-of-town attendees will find a range of accommodations including Airbnb listings, as well as The Lodge at Keen Lake, and the Hilton Scranton. The venue also recommends a diverse range of local vendors to assist with all details of your day, from photography and makeup to party rentals and officiants.

The Best Decision We Made for Our Wedding
From the moment we stepped into 6th & River for our tour, we knew instantly that it was where we wanted to get married. The venue was everything we ever dreamed of and more. The historic, industrial space paired with warm lighting created such a romantic atmosphere. It was absolutely beautiful.
Tiffany, the wedding planner, made me feel calm, supported, and present throughout the entire process. We truly could not have done this without her. The team’s professionalism, kindness, support, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We are so grateful to have chosen 6th & River for our special day.
We highly recommend to all couples looking for a romantic wedding venue in the Poconos Area.

My Dream Wedding!
I could never say enough great things about 6th and River! Not only was the venue gorgeous for our wedding, but the team behind it really made the planning process and day itself perfect. Tiffany and Amanda were so helpful and kind, helping us iron out details and making sure we were able to celebrate with our friends and families and have time for us during the day as well. In the months leading up to the wedding, Tiffany met with us several times and helped us prepare the perfect day. She was a superstar in the weeks leading up to it, answering last minute questions and making sure everything would run smoothly. The day of she was always there if I needed something and helped make it the best day. Not only did we get a perfect wedding day out of 6th and River, but we got to meet and work with awesome people as well!

Perfect in every way
6th & River made our wedding so magical and perfect in every way. They were truly a dream to work with. Laura & Katharine took their time to closely work with us throughout our whole planning process. They truly made our vision come to life… and they made it even better than we dreamed. It was so nice to work with them because of their kindness, advice, expertise, and flexibility. They truly wanted us to have a perfect day & you can clearly see that they have a passion for what they do. All of our questions were answered in-depth throughout the process & we felt comfortable the whole way through. Katharine designed the PERFECT bouquets for my bridesmaids & I, and she gave me exactly what I wanted and asked her for. The flowers were absolutely perfect. Laura took it upon herself and used the Polaroid camera I had brought to our wedding & she took photos of moments throughout the evening. That meant so much to me because they are some of my favorite images & it truly shows the care that she puts into the little details. Laura and Katharine care deeply about their couples & it shows. I honestly do not have a single negative thing to say about my experience at 6th & River. It was perfect and beautiful and full of so much love! We recommend this venue to everybody! Our guests loved it too ❤️

Amazing Experience! Absolutely Nothing We'd Change!
We had our ceremony at the farm and the reception at 6th and River, and everything exceeded our expectations completely. Not only is 6th and River absolutely gorgeous, but we knew the second we met Katharine and Laura that our wedding was in incredibly good hands. Their vendor list is exceptional, and their flow as a team is so seamless, there was not a moment between the planning, my many questions, and the day of that I was worried. Even when our wedding cake was delivered a little unhinged, Laura grabbed a spatula and immediately went to work on the frosting potholes. We wish we could live this day over and over again. Thank you 6th and River!

Great place with tons of options
We fell in love with the appearance of the venue and the option of an indoor or outdoor ceremony. The options provided to us and flexibility of the space allowed us to have everything we could possibly want at our wedding. Laura and Katharine were a huge help in every phase of the planning process right down to the day. We could not be more grateful for how seamless they made the whole process. Highly recommend 6th and river and Fox Hill farm.

Beautiful spot!
Our experience with 6th & River was AMAZING! The venue itself is beautiful. All of the brick and natural lighting made for great pictures. The staff went above and beyond to make us prepared and relaxed leading up to wedding day. Also Laura was with us every step of the way day off to make sure everything went smoothly.
The owner who also runs gorgeous floral did the floral arrangements for us. Which put the finishing touch on a perfect day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

It was amazing working with 6th and river and Fox hill farm
It was an amazing , easy and stress free experience working with Fox hill farm and 6th and river. They were so helpful from the start, answering all my questions promptly. They helped make my day wonderful and beautiful! I would highly Recommend them for your wedding! Amazing locations and amazing ladies!
