The Governor's Place is a hotel wedding venue in Dallas, Pennsylvania, that could set the scene beautifully for your special day. Here, every stay is an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and create lasting memories in a setting where history and hospitality come together.
Built in the 1950s by former Pennsylvania Governor John S. Fine, our home has been lovingly transformed by the second generation of the Hall family into a charming bed and breakfast, preserving its rich history while welcoming guests to become part of its continuing story. We also partner with a local restaurant for a delicious breakfast delivered every morning.

The Governor's Place features an exceptionally large yard with beautiful scenery surrounding it, as well as large suites that fit your party comfortably. On top of that, there is a billiards room with a beautiful pool table, a large sectional couch with tv, and darts. The balcony with seating overlooking the southeastern section of the property has an incredible view. In addition to the balcony, we have fire pits, outdoor patios, a sunroom, parking, and trails for hiking or biking. Ricketts Glenn State Park is under a 20-minute drive from the property. Every moment here invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and experience the timeless charm of country living.
