Jamie is the baker at 2 Fine Caterers which is connected with the Back Porch Restaurant in Charleroi area. Since we were throwing my In-Laws a surprise 50th wedding anniversary at the Back Porch Restaurant, we figured we should just check out this baker. OMG! Went to the shop where a medium sized glass case held BIG Gobs...LOADED with filling!! And boy were they GOOD, but that was during the drive home. LOL. While there we went over our vision with Jamie. She gave us input as to why our design or cake topper may not work, etc. Very informative and straight forward. She knows her business. On our way out, we grabbed one of the many cakes in their refrigerated cases, to try as a "tester" - hehehe. And this is where the OMG comes in. I also bake and although I am not a professional, I do big cakes and cake design for my nieces, nephews and friends and they are GOOD cakes. BUT, LET ME JUST TELL YOU, JAMIE'S CAKES ARE THE BEST CAKES I HAVE EVER TASTED!! I swear on the Bible!! ---- Now Jamie is the baker as well as the one you have the consultation with. So logically, I understood when I didn't hear from her until closer to the actual date...she is very busy. She already had all the info, she just checked in to make sure everything was still as planned. You will not have any regrets using 2 Fine Caterers for any baked goods! I have not tried any other food, so I am only rating and discussing their baked goods. I also had gotten some of her mini Gobs, brownies and variety of her cookies to go on the Pittsburgh Cookie Table (along with Jamie's cake and large variety of cookies and pastries from Pastries A La Carte) YUM!! ---Shena---Daughter-In-Law of the Golden Anniversary Couple...the Brunos!

Chef John at 2finecaters was great to work with- he was always very accommodating. They provided us with a wonderful italian menu for our wedding. Everyone thought the food was delicious which means a lot coming from my husband's family who are very Italian. I thought the value was excellent and everything was delicious. I would absolutely recommend this caterer!

When the Reverend showed up with blue hair, a hammering shower started at exactly 2:00pm on the nose soaking all the seated guests at the exact time the ceremony was to start, when the DJ was no ware to be found, and the post rain shower had brought with it a suffocating humidity Chris, John, and Jaime of “2 Fine Caterers” came through!
The Mediterranean chicken was talked about all night and the prime rib was so tender I didn’t even need a knife. Chris and john set out a display that looked just like it was out of a magazine. Jaime Made the perfect cake with that country autumn look we wanted, and the taste was so moist with the Bavarian cream filling that was light and sweet I’m not a cake eater and I had another piece.
I priced “a lot” of caterers before meeting with them, and let me tell you for certain there prices were straight forward with extras included that other caterers up charge after you fall for there initial “Price Per Plate”
For a Groom who started his wedding day with his head in his hands ready to have a breakdown “2 Fine Caterers” in Charleroi came thru and had a very large hand in all the smiling faces that I and my wife see in our wedding album.
