About 1880 Union Hotel
Located 30 miles north of Santa Barbara, near the popular wine country towns of Los Olivos, Solvang and Buellton, this historic landmark offers a rustic and vintage venue that is both authentic in its history, and fresh for the most luxurious of celebrations.
Facilities and Capacity
The 1880 Union Hotel offers two outdoor event sites - a great lawn and brick courtyard - each capable of seating 300 for ceremony and reception. Nine private Old West guest rooms, including two suites, provide accommodations for up to 20 overnight guests. An expansive dining hall and lobby lounge are perfect for rehearsal dinner, after-party, or a smaller indoor reception. And the upstairs lounge, along with dressing room, kitchenette, game room, poker room and library, provide ample entertainment throughout the wedding weekend.
The 1880 Union Saloon next door is open to the public (check website for current hours of operation), and is another option for the after-party!

This grand building was constructed in 1880 by Wells Fargo as a stagecoach stop, and served as a hotel and saloon for over 100 years, from the early nineteenth century until 2016 when it was refurbished and began offering private accommodations and events.
