The first time I came in, it was 9 month before my wedding and though I felt it was adequate time to look for a dress, my sale representive pressured me into finding a dress that day. My sales representative instilled me with the fear that most brides look for a dress at least 1 year in advance and that I was actually in a press for time since they would have to order my dress and as well as consider the time for possible alterations and a few fittings. Although I agree that the process time would be lengthy, I still did not need the added pressure to find a dress as I was already stressed. After the initial scare tactic however, the lady (I forget her name! so sorry) who helped me with my dress selection was cordial and helpful and was able to stay within my price range (about 2000). Since this is a high end wedding boutique, my price range was actually considered low (as I was told, other brides were shopping for dresses that were at least $9,000). I had hoped that the sales representative and staff would be helpful after I had paid for my dress, I soon found out that their service was not as good a I had hoped. I ordered a swatch for the ribbon on my wedding dress which i was told would take a few weeks (10 weeks) but after three months, I was not given a phone call and had to call to see if my swatch was in. I had issues with the billing department as well, when my dress arrived, they had to charge the remainder amount to my card but they somehow charged it 3 extra times for the same charge and I was not able to use my card thereafter because of their error. When I asked them about the charge, they denied it even though I had an online record that said they charged my card three times. They did not apologize for their error or compensate for it either.

Aside from that the billing department and the sales rep at Mon Amie, I do however, have no complaints about their alterations department because I had the most wonderful person to work with! Her name is Gloria and she is excellent at alterations and is a sweetheart! I love her! She is the most genuine and honest person and she made my experience at Mon Amie so much better.

Pink Paper Design was wonderful! Meghann delivered an exceptional product and I loved my wedding favor embellishments and the beautiful ceremony programs she designed for me. I knew after my initial meeting with her that she would be able to take my ideas and make something unique and personal for our wedding. She did a beautiful job and I couldnt be happier. Rebecca and her team are exceptional at what they do. I loved how I looked for the day of my wedding and it helped that I was able to do a hair and makeup preview with her and her hairstylist so I knew what to expect and to give them input on what I wanted to change so that I was perfect for the day of my wedding. They did exactly as I requested (natural and romantic makeup and hair) and i couldn't be happier. They also did my mother's and my mother in law's hair and makeup and I could not believe how youthful they looked. I was very pleased with my makeup and hair and it lasted throughout the night (no touch up's needed!) When I returned to my suite at the end of the evening and looked at my hair and makeup, it looked as pristine as when they did it 10 hours prior! I highly reccomend Bridal Makeup Artists.
