Jamie

It was a warm summer night inside the Lynwood Circuit City where Andrew was working in the roadshop with Jacob. Andrew was counting down the time before getting off work while Jamie and her friend Chrystal were on the prowl for some hot young guys. After wondering around the CD department Jamie and Chrystal saw their targets standing in the back of the store. Walking to the back of the store Jamie and Chrystal were greeted by the standard "How are you guys doing tonight? Is there anything that we can help you find?" This gave the two young females the opening they desired to start up a conversation. They started with pointing at the car performance parts and asking "What does that do?" After a couple of meaningless questions and answers a meaningful conversation started. Jamie and Chrystal talked about how they just started working together at the new Subway down the street and how they liked guys with big stereos in their cars. Andrew took this opportunity to show off his car stereo system... only problem was that he rode is motorcycle to work that day. Jamie thought that the motorcycle was even better then a car stereo system. The Setup...So after 15 minutes of light flirting Chrystal asked to purchase the CD's she found earlier. Andrew went to the register and rang up the CD's. Chrystal flipped through the left side of her wallet and pulled something out and set it on the counter and then flipped through the right side and pulled out her credit card and paid for the CD's then left the store. Later when Andrew and Jacob were closing up the register they found Chrystal's student ID on the counter. Andrew knew immediately that they had been setup. After a couple of days Chrystal's ID was still sitting by the register, Andrew decided to take her ID to her work. He went into Subway and Chrystal was working behind the counter. Andrew said "You forgot something." as he tossed her the school ID. She looked confused for a second then realized where she had left her ID. She said "My friend thought you were really cute, can I get your number?" Andrew replied "If you remember my name I will give you my phone number." Chrystal thought for a couple seconds and responded "I don't remember your name but my friend does." Andrew responded "I will give you my number, but if your friend calls and does not know my name I am going to hang up on her." Chrystal agreed and Andrew gave up his number. Jamie's side of the story (aka "the truth") Jamie and Crystal were killing some time before they went to see a movie and decided to go into Circuit City and look around. They made their way to the back of the store where the car stereo department was and found some cute guys working there (one of which was Andrew). They were, admittedly, flirting quite a bit while they were asking about the various performance parts available. After a while of hanging out, Jamie and Crystal left to go to their movie. After a couple days, Crystal came home from work and said "You'll never guess who came into work today". Jamie said, "Who?" and then Crystal said, "That cute guy from Circuit City. He really wanted me to give you his number". Jamie said, "Huh, that's funny. I didn't think there was a lot going on between us when we were flirting at the store. Well, that's cool." Jamie, feeling a little sheepish because she hadn't remembered the cute guys' name, called the number Crystal gave her. When she called and reached Andrew's voicemail she thought, "Great! I'm catching a break, now I can just hear his name on his voicemail". Only, when she listened to the mangled, distorted voicemail she couldn't understand the horribly slurred words on his message. Jamie had to prance her way around leaving an extremely vague message in order to score a date with the mystery guy from Circuit City. She must have left a great message, or made a great impression, because Andrew and Jamie started dating shortly afterwards. Although Crystal had been quite sneaky in hooking up Jamie and Andrew, she set into motion the events that started this whole glorious event. A couple months after Jamie and Andrew started dating, Jamie moved out of the apartment she shared with Crystal after a turmoil ridden roomate situation and never heard from Crystal again. After about 6 months of dating, Andrew told Jamie how Crystal had been so deceitful in getting them together. Now they're thankful for Crystal's meddling, and look forward to a long, happy life together.
