I was very impressed with the professionalism of this photographer, and I would definitely recommend her to other couples. I had several compliments from friends and family on the day of the wedding about how she worked with everyone. Her pricing is also very competitive and affordable! All the photos turned out great, and I wouldn't hesitate to use her services in the future.
I chose Baker Wee, because their cakes taste fabulous and they are very reasonably priced. My wedding cake looked beautiful, as did the cupcakes for the cupcake tower we did.
Despite how great my cake looked on the outside, on the inside it was the wrong kind of cake. It wasn't anything that affected the flow of events on my wedding day, but I was definitely disappointed since I was looking forward to eating the kind of cake I ordered. What they delivered tasted fine, but I wasn't a huge fan. However, when I called the week after the wedding, they immediately offered to give me a free cake for any other event I might have - birthday party, etc.
One thing I was disappointed in was how late the delivery boy arrived. He arrived about an hour later than we had agreed upon, and we had to delay the start of events so he could get everything set up on the cake table.
Other than that, this place does make some pretty great tasting things, and they were responsive to make up for their mistake with my wedding cake.
Azteca Bridal has a great selection of dresses and reasonable prices - I found my dress the first day and it was at 1/2 price. However, their quality of service is horrible. I made an appointment and was basically ignored the whole time I was there except when I was ready to check out. I would ask for help while trying things on, and the people would say 'Okay' but they would never come back. Thankfully, my sister was with me, so she was able to help me gather dresses together to try on and what not. I was so displeased with the service that I almost decided not to buy from them, even though I loved the dress. In the end, I bought just because their prices are so low and the dress looked great on me.
I think their prices for alterations are high. I just needed hem brought up and a bustle added, and it cost $200. The bustle ended up falling down consistently during the reception, so it doesn't seem like a good job was done with that. In addition, they try to tag on quite a few extra costs at check out. They charged me $25 to leave my dress for alterations (not for them to hold it for several months - just for them to have it there for alterations). When I asked about the $25 and the extra charges they were trying to put on, I was basically told the price of the dress was so low that they had to make sure they still made a profit.
Once again - a great selection of dresses here but HORRIBLE service. If you decide to check them out, just keep that in mind.

Sweetwater Strings was very easy to work with and get a hold of during the planning process. They have a large number of songs in their repertoire, which they play beautifully. I had a violin duo play, and they were also more than willing to accommodate and learn special requests for the wedding. Considering the affordability of their pricing, how easy they were to get in touch with and how beautifully they play, I would definitely recommend them to other people.
I had an outdoor wedding and was able to find some white silk fans at Michael's for a reasonable price. I looked at fans with other vendors, but their pricing was all much higher than Michael's. The fans looked great, and Michael's let me easily return extra boxes that went unused at the wedding. I would definitely recommend that other brides check this place out for favors, invitations and great decorating ideas.
