I loved Pine Knob and the Staff from the beginning until my actual wedding day. The venue was great, answered all my questions and let me store my items there prior to the wedding. I was disapointed the day of the wedding. They do not have a designated coordinator the day of at least in terms of what I think a designated coordinator should be. I had someone assigned to me that I saw twice. After mentioning this to the office staff, they replied I was informed of how hard it was to get my guests seated and everyone lined up as well as there job is to make sure guests were served.
Other concerns were that I gave them instructions as to where all the candles were to be lit. None of my patio candles were lit outside. They misplaced my cake topper than eventually found it. Overall, beautiful place but if you want a smooth day. Get a day of wedding coordinator!
I loved our associate photographer. I found our photographer, to be a bit abbrasive the day of the wedding. He was not well liked by the venue staff and I felt at times he was rude to the other vendors especially the videographers and to his associate at times. He even made a point to tell me that I was taking on to much at the wedding. I also didn't get a creative vibe from him that I was looking for. Based on his portfolio, I should have some great photos. I have had great communication with the office and I would recommend this studio.
OMG, Liz is amazing. She was so great to work with. She went above and beyond for me at my wedding. She was such a pleasure I want to plan my wedding all over again. You must use this florist, you won't be sorry!
I have known of this shop since I was a kid having bought my prom dress there. So I knew I wanted to go there for my wedding dress. The staff is wonderful and Liz is a doll. They really take good care of you. The only drawback was I found my dress at another shop $100 less. No biggie.
This is the most responsive, organized vendor I have had the pleasure of dealing with. I loved my DJ. Mike Staff is true to there word. When they ask you what songs you want to hear, they actually play them, all of them! I was on the dance floor the entire night. Bob was the best. One fault, he played the wrong version of the song I walked down the aisle too. No biggie, everyone loved it and was so moved. HIRE THIS COMPANY!
Amazing guys! I hardly saw them all night and that is there job to be unobtrusive. I can't wait to see the video. It was chaotic that day but I have confidence that they caught some great stuff. Ryan Koral is a pleasure to deal with and gave me some added value to my package that was not listed in their pricing. They are the best in metro detroit for a reason. HIRE THEM!
Holly is great! While I love her work, It was a little over priced for what I had designed. I only could afford to pay for half of the invitations and had to order invitations from another company. Her work is nice and if you can afford it , go for it!
Lindsey was amazing to work with. She did my shower invites as well as my wedding stationary. She is truly a gifted designer. I will use her for all my future needs!

This was a crazy day. They charged me over $100 dollars for my wedding day style. Understandbly so if I was getting an up do or something really elaborate. My hair was worn down and just curled. Should have cost me half. Than they fired my girl right after. My hairdresser is amazing and came to my parents home and only charged $30 a piece to do the girls hair. So all was well. As for the salon, nice work but over priced for what I had done. Felt they should have adjusted since I am a long time customer and for the work I had done.
This company was great to work with. They were extremely dependable and easy to work with. They really listen to and are upfront with you regarding what they can do in each venue. I didn't have any surprises on the wedding day. The blue lighting was a brighter blue than I imagined. After speaking with the vendor, she explained that she tried different blues and this one worked the best since we were uplighting brick. I was still very pleased with the overall affect. The pink lighting in the dance floor area was not over powering and gave a beautiful hue to the dance floor. I highly recommend this company for your lighting needs.

Heather was great to work with. The linens were beautiful and a great price. She was accomodating to my many changes. She even had me come out to a venue to look at a particular linen that I fell in love with. I would hire this company again.
