No Girl Friends -- Bridesmaid Help!

Ok so I'm recently engaged (we've been living together for 8 years). My problem is, I have absolutely no girl friends, no sister, no cousins to have as bridesmaids. He has his brother as his best man, but I don't have anyone. I'm thinking of asking his little sister (she's 15) to be in the wedding...

Ok so I'm recently engaged (we've been living together for 8 years). My problem is, I have absolutely no girl friends, no sister, no cousins to have as bridesmaids. He has his brother as his best man, but I don't have anyone. I'm thinking of asking his little sister (she's 15) to be in the wedding but I'd like someone closer to my own age... Thinking of asking his brother's GF (they've been together for 2 years and she's the only girl I've really hung out with at all in a couple years) to be a BM but not MOH (I would just not have a MOH). Not sure what to do though because she doesn't like his family all that much, and we don't have much in common... This is really stressing me out! Any thoughts?

I'm not having a bridal party at all. Saves $ & drama. My family is on the other side of the country & I also don't feel close enough to any of my local friends.

We opted out of the bridal party. It was too hard to choose and everyone we came up with was out of town and wouldn't have been able to help with anything. We have recently decided we will have one niece and nephew from each side walk down the isle before us and that is it. Much easier. Maybe your FH can ask his brother to be in the wedding in another way and just the two of you stand up for the ceremony? Or anyone you can think of you were ever close with through the years guy or girl? Maybe you have a flower girl instead and he gets a best man?

I definitely feel that "even" WPs are over-rated--they mostly lead to trying to include people who really don't belong in the WP. If your FS is having a best man, that's only one person; it wouldn't look terribly unbalanced for you not to have anyone if no one comes to mind. Your FBIL could just hold both rings, since that's the main function of attendants during the ceremony.
