I'm not the type to leave reviews, but Wedding Wire asked me to and the Parsons deserve all the accolades! I have followed the Parsons blog for years, and dreamed of them documenting my wedding one day. They, and the photos, were everything I hoped they would be. They are true to the craft of documentary photography -- everyone who has seen our wedding photos has commented they felt like they were there, too. They could hear, smell, taste, and see everything through the images. The Parsons captured our day in the most genuine but beautiful way, because that is exactly who they are as people -- genuine and beautiful. They went above and beyond. On top of that, we received all of our images a lot sooner than we expected! We are so honored to have them be a part of our day -- we, and our children, will absolutely cherish these photographs for decades.

Our wedding was shot in 90% darkness for the first half, lit only by the setting sun, and a single blue bulb. The entire rest of the night was outdoors in low light. Even through these challenging circumstances, every image was crisp, evocative, and best of all, fun. The images are "us," perfectly captured.

I'm the kind of guy that makes goofy faces in photos. Maybe i'm insecure, maybe i just don't like the idea of trying to "look good." Regardless, the Parsons somehow captured me at my best - smiling, laughing, and connecting to my wonderful bride. I look candid, authentic, honest, and in love. What a wonderful thing to have my memories match our photos.

The Parsons were like a ninja team, capturing things I couldn't have imagined they would - connective glances from best friends, The hint of tears of joy from my wonderful bride, and the emotions of our friends and family. They spent the entire day with us before the wedding and split up so we had images of the both of us, separately getting ready in our one unique ways.

Not once did I feel like they were in the way, or notice them snapping away, but at the end of it, we had over 1200 photos of our weekend, and our story. 1200!

Looking through them again, I am just awestruck. My face hurts from smiling.

We dedicated the largest percentage of our wedding budget to photography and I don't regret it in the slightest. The Parsons were worth every penny. They were upfront about their costs and transparent about their needs. It was incredibly refreshing to be able to talk about the value of photography and the cost of services in an open, candid conversation. Looking through these photos, I still feel like we underpaid.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, I have millions in celebration of my bride, and these photographers. I would (and do) recommend the Parsons to everyone i know getting married.

I get to relive the best day of my life over and over, and for that I am endlessly grateful.

Jeremy captured images that will be treasured forever. The Parsons are personable and very professional. They are wonderful to work with and have a way of putting you at ease in the midst of wedding business. We loved having Jeremy there for the wedding weekend and can't stop going over our photos again and again, reliving the moments he captured.

Ashley and Jeremy are wonderful photographers but even better people. We were able to spend time with them prior to our wedding to share our hopes and dreams and fears. They were able to capture the joy of our wedding day uniquely because of the time they took to know us. They were considerate of all our requests. At one point during the wedding shoot, Jeremy pulled by wife and I aside and helped us grasp the gravity of the moment and how he wished to capture it. That was truly meaningful and moving. We believe it was reflected in the photographs they made for us. They are a true joy to work with!

Ashley & Jeremy made our wedding day incredible! Not only did we LOVE our wedding photos, but their presence during our wedding day made it what it was. They are carefree, fun, and flew all the way to California to film our wedding! We loved having them beside us, cracking jokes, telling funny stories and becoming friends in the matter of one day. They helped us stay calm, and enjoy quiet moments with each other before the reception. We are so thankful not only for their talent but also their heart.

Ashley and Jeremy are not even in the same league as most photographers. They are true artists. Visionaries. Incredible people. Hardworking people who put their heart and soul into their work. They pay attention to you, your needs, and every detail most people wouldn't even notice. 6 years ago I saw their work and knew I needed to book them for my wedding day. 4 months ago 'it' happened and it was the best wedding decision we made. I've known the Parsons' work since I first became interested in wedding photography and admired the way they tell a true story - one that is real, raw, and insanely beautiful. when I got married this past summer, it was no question that we wanted them to tell the story. the photos were more than just memories for us. they make us cry and laugh and give thanks. I love the way you see the true personalities of our loved ones in the photos. I love the way the photos remind you of specific moments that allow memories to flood in. I can't imagine anyone else telling our story - the love for their clients really shines through in their work. I couldn't recommend them enough.

The Parsons are first and foremost incredible people, and that bleeds over into the stories they tell with their photographs. It's the care they take in getting to know you that makes their photos so beautiful. Our wedding day was a HOT one in August with a blaring sun. Ash had to sub because of a gnarly injury. So, difficult conditions, but the results blew us away. Our day was captured beautifully and my wife and I cry tears of joy and laughter each time we look at the pictures. A picture of my mom and dad dancing together will always be particularly dear to my heart. My dad passed away two months after the wedding unexpectedly, and having the images of him there celebrating with us will always be with us to tell his story and ours on that day. They capture the real moments and help you re-live the day's emotion. They are amazing photographers and provided us with a great way to look back at our story, but they also provide support and made the moments alone with my wife feel intimate while taking beautiful pictures. We love them, loved our experience, and would reccomend to anyone and everyone looking for a beautiful, real story.

Even before I met my husband, I knew I wanted The Parsons to photograph my wedding. The emotional quality they capture in their photographs is unmatched. I am a wedding photographer myself, so this was the most important decision to me on who we would work with on our wedding day - and we were not disappointed. Our wedding was small, only 20 people, so it was important to us to have a photographer who would capture the intimate weekend we had together with our family and closest friends. The photos that Ash and Jeremy took capture the love and moments we shared perfectly. We consider it nothing short of a blessing to have had the Parsons shoot our engagement and wedding. Lastly, when we were given our wedding film from our videographers, one of the first things I noticed was how quick and fleeting these these moments are; these moments that the Parsons caught consistently. These are the moments that speak into the very souls of your family, or your new marriage. These are the moments the Parsons don't miss, and because of Ashley and Jeremy, you get to be reminded of them for the rest of your lives through their images.
