I would recommend Rick Jennisch Photography to anyone getting married in the Quad City Area. He was extremely personable but yet professional. I even got compliments from my bridal party saying they really enjoyed working with him.
Our package included an engagement photo shoot and he was willing to travel to Galena, IL (about just over an hour away) for no extra charge for these photos. That was very special to us since that was where we we got engaged.
His style of photos are very classy and was exactly what we were looking for. We truly enjoyed working with him before the wedding as well as on our wedding day!
We just received our proofs and know we will have an extremely hard time choosing pictures because there are so many great one! Thank you for documenting our special day Rick!

Where do I start? You will not be disappointed if you hire Rick to be your photographer! He is extremely talented! Not only does he take remarkable photos, but he is so professional and truly enjoys his work.
The day of our engagement photos was very hot and humid and he never complained or threw in the towel early. He wanted to make sure he got every shot! Even I was ready to give up! Our wedding day was nice and cool, but very windy and he adjusted and adapted accordingly. He even put in over time to get some amazing night shots. He does not watch the clock and stop working because he already put in the hours you paid him for. In my opinion he doesn't charge enough for the quality of his work. I saw a few of our wedding photos today and I am blown away! I am so grateful that I found Rick and that we hired him to be our wedding photographer!

I chose Rick as the photographer for our engagement and wedding because he was the photographer for my sister's wedding back in Aug 2006 and our family was very impressed by the quality of pictures he took along with his level of professionalism.

Rick shot our wedding in Negril, Jamaica in November 2010. We were excited to be taking our own photographer with us but nervous at the same time because Rick would not be familiar with the locations like he would be around the QCA. If Rick was nervous about the same thing, he didn't show any signs of it! He did alot of scouting around the resort to find the best places to take pictures in the days that led up to the wedding. He found the spot for us to do our first meeting for us. It was beautiful yet private, it couldn't have been more perfect! He paid attention to the sunlight and when would be the best time of day to be where. We had a choice of where to get married: beach, gazebo, or gardens. We chose the gazebo and it ends up Rick was glad we picked this location due to the location of the sun during that time of day for pictures. He never said a word about this until after we had picked our location, he let us make the decision on our own with no pressure from him. Very professional! And even if we did pick the beach, I have all confidence that he would have made it work and the pictures would have been just as good!

At this time we have seen all of our pictures and they are beautiful! Rick caught so many special moments between my husband and I and also between family members that joined us in Jamaica. During the ceremony and reception, Rick made it so you didn't even know he was there. People that weren't able to join us can look at his pictures and feel like they were with us! His pictures tell a story and that is priceless!

Throughout the whole wedding planning process Rick was great at communicating with us. As the day for our engagement session got closer, he kept an eye on the weather and it ended up being rainy. So he rescheduled us right away. For the wedding, there ended up being a change in the second shooter that would be traveling with him and he communciated this right away. He even took it upon himself to pay for any cost that would be incurred for travel due to the change. Again, very professional!

Rick Jennisch Photography did an amazing job with my wedding photos. The day went without a hitch and he kept us on time to make it to our reception. Our pictures turned out great and I absolutely love my album.

Rick was suggested to me by my wedding planner. That was one of the many great ideas she had. Rick and his team with Felicia and Kristi gave me and my husband wonderful and "painless" engagment photos. They were very flexible with changing certain things and were very understanding when it came to family photos. They have done a wonderful job and when I get my proofs back from the wedding I am sure that they are wonderful. I would reccommend them to anyone and have already told everyone this company did a wonderful job and when I have chidlren I know that I am having them shoot everything for me too.

We are so happy that we chose Rick for our destination wedding in Mexico! Our pictures are not just pictures they are works of art! When deciding on a photographer it was important to us to find someone with a photojournalistic and candid approach as opposed to the traditional posed photography. We were really impressed when we starting scrolling through Rick's portfolio. His work is amazing! We were super excited to see what he could do with our wedding on the beach. He way exceeded our expectations! The photos are absolutely stunning! We have had several friends make comments like "that looks like something out of a magazine" and "those are the most beautiful wedding pictures I have EVER seen". They are definitely the most beautiful pictures we have ever seen! Rick was so great to work with. He was very personable and made us feel at ease during the shoots. Rick was open to our suggestions for photos we wanted, but ultimately his ideas made for the best shots! You can tell that photography is most definitely Rick's passion. Following our engagement shoot he spoke to us about his ideas for the wedding. Rick and his assistant flew down three full days before the wedding, he informed me he would like time before the wedding to get ideas of different areas he would like to shoot. He told us he hoped to do another engagement shoot on the beach one evening, which we did, and then looked forward to doing some "trash the dress" photos the morning after the wedding. We could tell he was very excited and his creative mind was already coming up with some great ideas for these shoots (and we hadn't even stepped foot in Mexico yet). We were so excited for the trip and even more so now that we knew how excited our photographer was! Rick brought with him an assistant, and we loved getting to know them both during the three days prior to the wedding. When we got home after the wedding and a short honeymoon we were discussing how sad it was that our business relationship had ended because we felt like we could now call them friends, after spending a week in Mexico with them and and our closest framily and friends. So, after a great week, and many 'take your breath away' photos, we would absoulutely recommend Rick Jennisch to others for their wedding, weather it be destination or traditional, all of the pictures he produces are stunning and most definitely works of art!

We set our wedding date only 9 months after we got engaged, so many of the photographers in our area were already booked when we started looking. When we found Rick, he had one opening and it happened to be on our wedding date. We were so happy we went with Rick. He made us feel very comfortable being photographed and was great to work with. He has a great eye for beautiful pictures. He was reliable and quick to get back with us whenever we had a questions or concerns. He was all around a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend him if you are looking for good quality for not a huge amount of money.
