Wedding Photography in Iowa City

Arbor Weddings stepped in at the last minute to be our videographer and we couldn't have been happier. Colton was there all day capturing all of the little and big moments. He has a great personality and my whole wedding party loved him. Our highlight video is perfect. I love being able to look back and remember all of my favorite moments and all of the emotion from the day.

Carrie is absolutely the best. My (now) husband is an amateur photographer and is very picky about lighting. He always only wants natural light and no filters. I wanted a photographer that could effortlessly capture the joy of the day - not just us but our guests and the candid moments of fun. Carrie delivered and more. From the moment we signed with her, her attention to detail and personalization wowed us. Even before we met in person. Her tips and tricks for planning for engagement and wedding day photos were SO helpful! When we took our engagement photos we felt comfortable with her right away, and she helped us ease into having a million pictures taken of us :). We had so much fun! And the wedding, of course, was even better. She and her assistant captured exactly what we wanted, and were so fun to work with. My husband and I both were brought to happy tears seeing our wonderful day captured so beautifully. Hire her. You will not regret it.

Shuva was phenomenal to work with for my wedding and definitely goes above and beyond what you'd expect from a photographer! My husband and I wanted someone who would catch the day as it unfolded without a lot of staging or fuss; Shuva's photo journalistic style was exactly what we were looking for. She was wonderful to work with, very professional, personable, and offered many great suggestions to enhance the day and experience. She's got a great system for how to make the day flow seamlessly and a natural instinct for being in the right place at the right time to catch unforgettable moments. In addition to beautifully photographing our wedding, we had an amazing engagement session with Shuva in which she actually helped my husband and I learn more about each other through her fun and creative process. She did wonderful blogs after our engagement session and wedding which we could share with our friends and family. She met with us multiple times to prepare for our big day and she is super quick in responding to emails and sending us our pictures. AND she laid out THE MOST GORGEOUS wedding album for us. You'll love working with her for your big life celebrations but you would be be mistaken to categorize her solely as a wedding or event photographer. She's passionate and truly inspired by capturing people doing what makes them happy. Her services far exceeded my expectations and I am immensely grateful for her time, feedback, suggestions, help, and talent.

Gabe was INCREDIBLE to work with. We were looking for high quality, beautiful photos without paying as though we were at a Vogue shoot. He delivered way beyond our expectations and gave use access to download, share, and print any of the images. He way incredibly professional, focused, and fun to work with. I can't recommend him more!

We absolutely loved working with Andrea and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer who will capture the feelings and emotions of your big day. We did a really thorough search for photographers and considered bringing someone in from Chicago (where we live), but after all of our research, Andrea was our first choice and was right in the Iowa City area. Not only did the photos turn out incredible, but we really enjoyed getting to know her throughout the wedding planning process and spending a decent amount of time with her on our actual wedding day. She is down to earth and generally doesn't seem to be wrapped up in a lot of the wedding industry stuff that sometimes feels distracting from a meaningful wedding. If you're interested in capturing the feelings and the people most important to you (with beautiful photography, of course), I can't recommend hiring Andrea enough.

Teressa and Corey are absolute rockstars when it comes to photographers and videographers!! We have had pictures taken numerous times by them, and they NEVER disappoint!! We actually use to live 10 minutes from them, but have only been photographed in different states :) Teressa took our engagement pictures in RMNP and they were phenomenal! We hiked several miles, got the most amazing shots next to a lake with a mountain back drop, to die for! Then they both took our wedding pictures and video in Alaska, so so amazing! We did an adventure package after our wedding and hired a helicopter to take us to a mountain top and then on top of a glacier. I can't even begin to describe how absolutely breathtaking our photos are, hands down, our favorite part of our wedding! All of this to say, we LOVE Teressa and Corey and everything about them, they are so talented and down to earth, and just fun to be around! We had tried a few different photographers for family sessions after our daughter was born and have been repeatedly disappointed. We reached out to Teressa and said we needed them to visit us in NC so we could get good photos. Well, low-and-behold, they were going to be at Shenandoah NP the following weekend!! So we drove up for the weekend, they fit us into their crazy schedule, and now we have family photos we will cherish forever!! They both are not only awesome and so great what they do, but they've become life-long friends as well!
