We had a December wedding and it could have not been easier. The facility was ready for Christmas with decorations and many wreaths throughout the banquet hall. There was no need for us to add decorations. The staff was friendly and on hand for all our needs. All of our family and friends had a wonderful time! I will be back as one of our bridesmaids is now going to use this facility as well!

My daughters dream wedding reception came true at Ravenwood Country Club. The event coordinator gave us her personal cell phone number and was "on call" for us months before the wedding day. My daughter and myself called numerous times with questions and always received a friendly helpful response. They allowed us access to the Banquet Hall three days before the reception to decorate at our leisure. The staff was friendly and ready to assist with our needs. The coordinator made sure everything ran smooth the day of. The buffet meal was delicious. We rented some of our decorations and Ravenwood was happy for the delivery date to be on Monday so I would not have to pay extra. We have received only positive comments from family and friends on the wonderful time they had and my daughter was delighted!

We used this facility for our wedding and reception. In the beginning, the owner, Karen appeared to be very friendly and concerned about making our wedding day as special as possible. She explained the services that they would provide which was also outlined in the contract. A few days before the ceremony, after the check was cashed, we began to see a different side of Karen, her entire demeanor changed. She became very rude and unprofessional on several occasions. It began with her complaining about the amount of time we would use for our day - although we paid additional money for unlimited time. Then she displayed unprofessional behavior before several of our guests the night before our ceremony as well as the day of our wedding (i.e. she was rude & spoke in a nasty tone toward our coordinator in front of guests; she licked her tongue out at our coordinator in front of guests; she was reluctant to provide the guests with cake plates although it was a part of the contract package). In addition, other services outlined in the contract were not provided. Moreover, the buffet was not refilled, so the remaining of our guests were brought out a stack of chicken on a saucer...we paid for 100 guests, but only had approx. 80 to show (# incl. adults & small children)... no reason for lack of food. Also, there was only 2 servers on the floor... the 3rd monitored the dish with the chicken. Above all, one of our guests had to leave his seat, during the ceremony, to ask Karen and her staff to lower their voice. My husband and I have lost several days of sleep over the negative comments brought to our attention from our guests. We went to speak to Karen and her husband the following Monday about our displeasure in the events that unfolded, but only received an insincere apology & an argument toward their lack of accountability. My husband and I feel extremely embarrassed & disappointed by the service that was provided to our guests by the Ravenwood crew. Considering the substantial amount of money we paid, we expected a higher level of class and elegance.
