We served the wedding cake as our main dessert. 4 layer oval cake served 170. The presentation of the cake was magnificent; everything we hoped for and more. It was also very delicious. We would happy to recommend this vendor.

It was a pleasure wokring with Lori on our wedding cake for our August 6th, 2010 wedding.

A wedding cake was not something that my husband and I wanted, we had met with many cake decorators and became discouraged with the industry....and then Lori came into our lives! Her cakes stood out as being different, not the same old traditional wedding cake, and not the same old traditional wedding cake flavours!

Communication was very important to us, as we were planning our wedding in Toronto from afar, and we needed someone who was flexiable with meeting times, as our time in TO was always short, and we needed to be able to communicate over e-mail. Lori had no issue with this, and sent design concepts to us via e-mail.

Then end result...perfection! We loved out cake. It tasted amazing (Pumpkin spice flavour) and looked fantastic, Lori said it was like a cake decorating vacation! Our cake was anything but ordinary, bright orange and pink and it had tropical flare to fit our "theme"

It was such a pleasure working with Lori and we have no issue recommending her to our friends and family! :D

Lori Hutchinson designed the most beautiful and unique cakes for my wedding. I had a bird theme and so my cakes were three birdcages of different size and shape. My guests were stunned by the cake's beauty and also at how wonderful they tasted too!!

We could not possibly have been any happier with our wedding cake. Lori and I "cake-plotted" away, adding more and more loveliness to the cake. It was a true work of art, and people still comment on it today. Lori's amazing skill, attention to detail, and passion for her work showed through in every intricate accent of our cake.

Everyone can see how stunning Lori's work is on the internet, but tasting it is a whole other experience! We went for the classic vanilla cake with raspberry buttercream and it was just to-die-for! I also ordered a cake replica of my husband's porsche for a groom's cake, and he LOVED it! It was all chocolate and very delicious, and all of the little details were there, like a customized license plate and our puppies hanging their heads out the "window."

The cake really is the centerpiece of the entire wedding reception, and mine embodied my wedding day vision perfectly. When it comes to cakes, I have to say: The Caketress takes the cake!!!

The mini cakes made for my wedding July 3, 2010 were the talk of the wedding. They were elegant and delicious. They were so visually stunning they enhanced the decor. They were a focal point in the room. Our photographer took so many photos of them because they were so beautiful. Lori is truly a culinary artist!

Lori designed an absolutely gorgeous cake for us! It was exactly what we wanted but even better! Her customer service was amazing and I would defientely recommend her to anyone! The cake tasted AMAZING as well! I have never seen a line up for wedding cake so long in my life!

Working with Lori was great. We originally met her a year before our wedding and did not actually confirm her services until a few months prior. The delay was on our end as we delayed making decisions on cakes/cupcakes. She recalled our first meeting and was very responsive to our needs. She created cupcakes for us (both regular size and mini cupcakes) that matched the theme of our wedding. All the guests raved about how great they looked and how they were even more delicious then they looked. We were very impressed and wished we still had some cupcakes to enjoy!!
