Kelley is great! So creative and such a pleasure to work with. The only "negative"? Well, there were supposed to be real flowers on the cake which never happened - not sure if she forgot, never ordered them from the florist, or what. Bottom line was that the cake was stunning even without them AND the cake was DELICIOUS!
Kelley is amazing! Her cakes are the most delicious cakes we've ever had! (and my mom is a pastry chef!) Her prices are more than reasonable. She is so creative and talented. She created two cakes for us & developed a grooms cake that was the talk of the wedding. We can't wait to eat our anniversary cake, and to use her for many upcoming occasions!
Kelley Kakes was great. They agreed to do my cake super last minute, had great flavors with a ton to choose from, and she makes personalized cake toppers out of clay that you can keep! The only thing that was a bummer was that one of the colors on my cake was wrong. But its just cake, and other than that it was great working with them!

Kelley at Kelley's Kakes was amazing to work with and our wedding cake was beautiful. The options of flavors, fillings and icings are very extensive and the cake tasted great.
Wow. Kelley is absolutely the best cake designer in the state of Colorado. In my job, I happen to taste a lot of good cake... Kelley blows everyone out of the water. At our tasting, we couldn't believe how good every cake tasted. They were all amazing. We actually left it up to Kelley to choose the different flavors because we so trusted her opinion.
I chose to have a cake table with 5-6 different cakes on unique cake stands (and a candy bar mixed in, as well). We discussed the look I wanted and I felt confident she knew my vision. So I sent Kelley all my cake stands for her to pick the ones she wanted to use along with my inspiration board with colors, etc and left the designs up to her. To say they turned out fantastic is doing her a disservice - the cakes were so much better than I could have expected. Everybody loved the designs, and most importantly, loved the way they tasted. So glad we used Kelley. The experience was wonderful!
Our Cakes we Amazing! I loved my wedding cake and it was so yummy! My Husband loved his huskers cake which was made out of brownies! I can wait to get a cake made for my husbands birthday! she is an amazing person to work with!
Kelley was a great person to work with, extremely helpful and flexible. Best of all her pricing is unbeatable!! I visited multiple bakeries. I wanted a topsy turvy cake which I later learned is one of the most expensive cakes to order, almost double what a "regular" wedding cake was going for. When I met with Kelley not only did she work with me to make a custom wedding cake, exactly what I wanted but it was less expensive than the "regular" cakes I had seen other places. Kelley not only worked with me to create a custom cake, but was very helpful and creative to add more than I had even thought of. I would recommend checking with Kelley before commiting anywhere else.
From the beginning, I knew Kelley was the perfect person to do our wedding cake. All we did was give her a picture of what we wanted the cake to look like and she recreated it beautifully. Her cake flavors were absolutely mouth watering (the Strawberry Champagne is worth the extra cost, it's just amazing!). It was one of the most memorable parts of our reception, and we received many compliments on how delicious the cake was. Kelley was extremely professional, while still being personable, fun and easy going. Our cake arrived on time, and without a single problem. I HIGHLY recommend her, and I have. One of my friends is getting married in the fall, and after meeting with a less-than-spectacular baker, she met with Kelley and booked her on the spot. Also, you have to check out her blog, under Kelley's Kitchen, it lets you see how wonderful and unique a person and professional Kelley is, and it has lots of character. Book her now! It will be the least stressful part of your wedding planning, I promise :)
For me the most important part of "The Cake" was not the cake. The most important part was the peace of mind I received knowing that it was going to be perfect. Knowing that it would beat even my high expectations (which it did) made me wish I could pay her double what she asked just as a way of saying thank you.
Kelley is joy incarnate. She fills the entire process with laughter and hope and makes selecting a wedding cake for my wedding everything I always dreamed it would be.
Kelley was very kind and professional. She was flexible - and helped us with a groom's cake which was a bit out of the ordinary. Unfortunately we were extremely dissapointed with the way the cakes looked on the wedding day. What a shame!

I'd like to comment on this one. This, quite frankly, surprised the heck out of me! I never once heard from this couple after their wedding and while I was setting up the cake her family members watching me said it looked just like the sketch made at our meeting. After I read this I immediately emailed the bride and have received no response. If it were me and I wasn't happy with something, I sure as heck would have talked to the vendor. I have also called the venue and other vendors involved in this wedding to see if they were aware of a problem. They weren't. In addition I feel calling me unresponsive and overpriced is unfair. I always responded to her emails and calls. I answered every question asked and frequently went over all details. I did not charge them for their groom's cake (which cost me nearly $100 in rush online orders for specific ingredients during the holidays) and they also received a discount on their wedding cake. Kelley was absolutely wonderful!!! My cake was everything I imagined and better! She worked around my schedule, coming to my house to show me pictures of her past cakes and even responded to each of my million emails (thank you for that, you kept me sane ^_^) during the whole wedding planning process. She was even able to take it in stride that my new father in law was allergic to chocolate and help us choose a new flavor. I don't know what I would of done without her!! Thank you!!
Kelley did our wedding cake, and has since done several other cakes for us. We love her! Her cakes are amazing, they taste great, the look great, it's a win, win. My mother in law still cannot stop talking about our wedding cake and how good it was.
Kelley first did my son's wedding cake last May; last minute we decided to surprise him with a grooms cake as well - Kelley was instrumental in the idea process and in the end, both cakes were fantastic in both taste and look! Kelley also did a cake for my parent's 50th anniversary in December. We did not have many requirements - elegant with touches of gold. My sister and I stood looking at the cake and when I couldn't contain myself any more, I said this makes me cry, and my sister said "me too!" and we were both a mess for a few minutes - absolutely gorgeous!
