Katy Pierson created a masterpiece for our wedding cake. She was responsive and flexible and the cake was an absolute stunner! Katy took the inspiration pics I provided and delivered exactly what I wanted, yet put her own perfect touches on the design. The cake was gorgeous and delicious!! We got a of compliments on it. Katy also created a beautiful birthday cake for my mother, as our wedding was on my mom's birthday. I would definitely use Katy again for any upcoming events and highly recommend getting your wedding cake from her if your event is in the Vail/Breckenridge area!

Our wedding cakes were out of control, phenomenal, amazing. I can't say enough! We met with Katy about 9 months before trial and selected 3 different flavors (they were all so intricate, unique, and delicious we had a hard time deciding). We had an initial cake design in mind but changed about 5 months before the wedding to doing 3 separate cakes on tiered cakestands with the 3 different flavors. The cakes were absolutely gorgeous and most guests got to enjoy multiple flavors during the reception, with rave reviews. We "saved" our top layer but ended up eating in throughout the next day because it was absolutely delicious, and since we were traveling back home, we didn't want it to go to waste. My only complaint is we don't have any left!!! We are planning to go back to Vail and will be asking Katy to help make us a cake for our anniversary so we can relive the deliciousness all over again :)

I did all my planning with Sugar by email since I did not live in the area. Sugar came highly recommended and they were extremely accommodating!! The cake was beyond my expectations. She designed it perfectly from pictures I sent her and even picked out a cake stand a couple days before the wedding. The taste was unbelievable!!! I would highly recommend her again!!

Katy did everything we could have imagined and more for our wedding day! Especially because my now husband and I didn't even know what we wanted. We selected a couple of yummy flavors and asked her to create something beautiful from there. Done and done, it was hands down the easiest part of wedding planning.

Sugar Cakes is amazing! I wish I had more occasions to be able to order and eat a beautiful & delicious cake. The cake and butter cream/icing is the best we've ever tasted. We fell in love with the sophisticated flavors that she offered and we loved that nothing was overly sweet. Katy's artistic talent is of the charts and always does an amazing job decorating. She is also very open to ideas even if it isn't her normal practice. We are so thankful that we were able to meet and work with Katy. Sugar Cakes is delicious, beautiful, and easy to work with. We 100% recommend them.

Cake was one of those things I was just not excited about during wedding planning, which meant that we ended up scrambling to find a cake six weeks out from our wedding! I had my eye on Katy's gorgeous cakes but figured there was no way she would have availability on such short notice, but she did! We were planning from out of state so the first taste we got of the cake was on our wedding day. We chose the lemon thyme ginger cake with fresh berries and cream cheese frosting and it was AMAZING. One of my biggest regrets of our reception is I only got half a piece of cake - our guests ate it all! We had people going back for thirds! I've never been to a wedding where there wasn't tons of cake left over, so that really speaks to how tasty Katy's cake was! The cake itself was beautiful and exactly what we wanted, and Katy worked seamlessly with our unusual mountain venue (complete with 2 mile bumpy dirt road - not cake friendly!) and our florist. The cake turned out to be one of the most stress-free events of wedding planning - definitely worth it!

We had multiple flavors of cupcakes for the guests, a groom's cake designed like a mountain with snowboard and skis on top, and a small cake for us to cut into. They were absolutely delicious!!! I would not hesitate to recommend Katy and Sugar Breck to anyone getting married in the area. She is very professional complete with a champagne cake tasting with gourmet cupcakes and very accommodating. She made me feel like I was her only client, even though I know she is very busy!

We had two cakes: Our main wedding cake was absolutely gorgeous and tasted even better. We had a three tier round cake with fresh flowers running down the tiers. Katy can also make edible flowers that are beautiful.

The second cake was a grooms cake that Katy really helped bring to life from my vision. The cake had colorful lego blocks and a lego man on top with a sports jersey. My husband LOVED it and about died when we saw it. Sugar Cakes did a PERFECT job!

We had a red velvet cake and caramel brownies. Katy did an amazing job of listening to what I wanted and the theme of the wedding and coming up with a beautiful design. We were so happy with the way everything turned out. She was responsive, helpful, and accommodating.

When she delivered the cake my coordinator realized she had forgotten the cake stand. Katy had brought a cake plate just in case and saved the day. She did a terrific job!
