    Jennifer was fantastic to work with! From the first phone conversation we had (sharing our similar views on certain trends in weddings that we were really tired of), I knew I'd be in good hands with her. She coordinated the last 30 days leading up to my wedding, which meant I did not have to speak to any of the vendors about anything (unless I wanted to) the month before the wedding. She also sent me monthly to-do lists, which helped me feel like I was never behind on the planning. I have told several friends getting married that a wedding coordinator is absolutely worth the money because not being stressed about vendors or the schedule is a HUGE relief. The weekend of the wedding, she was fantastic. If anyone called me (because let's be honest, there's always one vendor who does), I just sent them to her, and never had to deal with it again. She and her assistant, Porsche, were great the day of, especially when she happily grabbed some drinks from the bar for our groomsmen who got a little tired (bored) before the ceremony.

    Jennifer is sweet, well-organized, detail oriented, and has both great style and a great sense of humor. You'll be in good hands with her!

    Jennifer was absolutely AMAZING. She helped plan my wedding in Nashville, TN while I was all the was in D.C! She was so willing to go to meetings for me and was always available to talk when I needed her. She also always has an answer to a bride's 1000 questions. And my wedding day was PERFECT. Even all of my wedding party commented on how wonderful and sweet she was. I seriously could not have asked for a better planner. Her team is also amazing and helpful. She really gets to know you and understands your vision for your wedding day. I would say my absolute favorite thing about her though is that EVERY time after talking with her or meeting with her, I felt a sense of happiness and excitement for my wedding day. She just has such a sweet and fun personality and makes you feel so comfortable in a time that can be stressful. I'd say it's very hard to leave a 2 hour meeting about your wedding day feeling calm, happy, and relaxed, but that is exactly how I felt every time ( my mother did as well). And I think that might be the most important quality a wedding planner could have. I would DEF recommend her to anyone looking for a planner!

    I cannot overstate how important Jennifer and her team (especially Porsche) were to the success of my wedding, and my happiness the day of.

    For the months prior to the wedding, I chatted with Jen or Porsche about our plans for the day of. They were supportive of my ideas – from having them design the ceremony backdrop to having Taco Bell as the late-night snack. They gave input on everything – from my wedding dress to tipping vendors to our first-dance song. I completely and fully trusted their judgment.

    The week of my wedding Porsche became more to me than a wedding coordinator. She pretty much took on the role of therapist and bff. She responded to my calls and texts all hours of the day and night. She was able to manage a vendor relationship that went awry. She listened to me panic about things that went wrong. She had a sewing kit ready when my now husband’s button fell off his suit. She redirected the band when they wouldn’t stop playing smooth jazz (haha, not what we were going for!). She helped me change into my reception dress. She made me cry at her sweet and supportive words.

    Truly, I cannot say enough good things about Jen, Porsche and the whole team at Jennifer Hamilton Events. They went above and beyond for me, my husband and our guests. Hiring them was the absolute best decision I made in my entire wedding planning process.

    Jennifer and her team were a delight to work with - taking our ideas and making them work, adding her own experiences to help us with decisions. She was very "hands on" - working on decorative items with us and handling multitudes of details. Plus, her flat fee arrangement let us know from the start what the cost of her services would be. Jennifer is calm, and brought a sense of order to what could have been a chaotic time! (Like an outdoor wedding with a forecast of rain:)

    Jennifer was a delight to work with! So incredibly helpful, creative, and fun! She was determined to go above and beyond to make sure our vision for the wedding came true. She was very quick to respond to all my questions (no matter how insignificant or petty). Jennifer took care of all the details of the wedding day so that my husband, my mother and I could all just enjoy the day. I would highly recommend her services!

    I cannot express how amazing Jennifer Hamilton was for our wedding! Our Big day would not have been the same without her and her amazing staff! She took care of every little detail and then details that I hadn't even thought of yet! Super sweet, professional, and amazing at her job! If you're hiring a wedding planner, Jennifer is your girl! You will not be disappointed!! She truly made our wedding more than we could of ever dreamed!

    I had my doubts about hiring a month of coordinator. I wasn't sure if it was going to be worth the money, but I am so glad we hired Jennifer. She is so fantastic to work with. I didn't need full planning services but I still felt like I got more than just month of services since I was able to ask Jennifer any questions about recommendations and ideas anytime that I needed to. It was so nice to have her confirm with all of my vendors the week of the wedding so I could enjoy spending time with family that came from out of town. It was essential to have Jennifer and Isaac on the day of. My husband was so thankful to have Isaac for any questions that the groomsmen and his family asked that he didn't have the answers to. Jennifer was able to set up all the decorations, put out the place cards, tie bows on the chairs, and do all the random things that either me or my mom would have had to do if she wasn't there. Having Jennifer there meant that my mom and I could relax and enjoy the day of my wedding. Even when something minor went wrong (a box of pictures was left behind in an office at the venue), Jennifer was able to remedy the situation in a snap of her fingers. The set up of those pictures looked like that was exactly how it was supposed to be. Our wedding went perfectly thanks to her and Isaac.

    I had a friend who didn't use a month of or day of coordinator and she said her phone was ringing all day on her wedding day and she was even pulled out of getting her hair and make up done to approve things for the vendors. My phone rang once when the lunch delivery came for me and my bridesmaids (I placed the order so I was expecting that phone call). That alone probably makes Jennifer absolutely worth hiring! Everyone should have a Jennifer Hamilton at their wedding!

    jennifer Hamilton was amazing and extremely professional. She truly listened to what the bride wanted. She accepted the challenge of thinking "outside the box" and delivered an awesome event. Every detail was considered, planned and instigated. Plus, she was a joy to work with. She is a delight!!! I would highly recommend her to manage your event.

    Jennifer helped us with my sister's wedding last summer so it was a no-brainer that we would have her help with my wedding this past summer. I used to be one of those people who didn't understand why people would spend their money on a wedding planner, but after working with Jennifer twice now- hiring her was BY FAR the best thing we did throughout this whole process. Jennifer made the whole process stress-free and enjoyable. Knowing she had everything taken care of allowed us to just sit back and enjoy being engaged and enjoy the planning process. Our wedding day ran smoothly and was absolutely magical - and we have Jennifer to thank! I would absolutely recommend her!

    Jennifer Hamilton of Mr. & Mrs. Weddings and Events came highly recommended from the professionals at Carnton Plantation, our chosen venue. While she and her team have a broad range of experience working with many of the top venues in Nashville, the fact that she knew the in's and out's of our location truly put us at ease and made our decision regarding a planner an easy one to make. Because of this knowledge, she was not only able to help us plan ahead on our ceremony and reception order, layout and details, but also to make game-time decisions on the day-of. She has a true heart and passion for what she does and it shows throughout her work. Jennifer always made herself available to us, was quick to respond to our many questions, even ones that didn't necessarily pertain to her job description. She and her team worked well with each one of our vendors and clearly communicated need-to-know details throughout the later portion of our planning process. She was hired as our "day-of" coordinator, but in reality went above and beyond to assist us from the time of our first planning meeting at 5 months out up to the big day. Even after our wedding, we continue to hear great things about Jennifer's work from our vendors, friends and family in attendance. Thanks Mr. & Mrs. Weddings and Events!

    Felt like Jennifer and Craig had everything under control before AND during the wedding! The day and overall wedding experience was everything I'd hoped it would be! Jennifer has been a long time friend of mine, but on this special day she not only stood by me as my friend but as a professional and successful event planner and coordinator! I highly recommend her services to anyone seeking help with their special day!

    Jennifer was a great asset to planning my wedding and was always available for email and phone calls to touch base about ideas and logistics of the day. She kept the day running smoothly as well as kept me informed about what was happening when. We went over a lengthy timeline that let me know exactly how everything would go.

    She also helped plan decor and table scape all the tables around the reception room working with the staff at the hotel and the florist.

    As an aspiring wedding and event planner, I can say that Jennifer was an inspiration to be around. She was so easy to work with, very level headed and goal oriented. My wedding day was absolutely perfect from start to finish, and I know that without Jennifer and her assistant Isaac I wouldn't be able to say that.

    I absolutely loved working with Jennifer. She made our final planning/coordinating so easy - and truly made our wedding day so simple and relaxing! I never knew of anything going wrong, and that was a blessing - for sure :)

    Back in July, my mother and I found ourselves WAY in over our heads attempting to plan the reception at my sister's wedding. It was three weeks away and we were overwhelmed, to say the least. We finally decided to hire someone to help. We called Jennifer from Mr. & Mrs. Weddings and Events and she immediately put us at ease and assured us that everything would be taken care of and would look beautiful. She exceeded our expectations in every way possible. She took all the stress out of planning the wedding. She completely understood the look my sister was going for at the reception and it turned out absolutely perfect. We could NOT have done this without her. She allowed my mom and I to sit back and relax and enjoy the beautiful day. Jennifer is incredible at what she does and we would definitely recommend Mr. & Mrs. Weddings and Events!

    Jennifer could not have been anymore helpful! She listened to exactly what I wanted, and made it happen! She was very helpful in coordinating with all of my vendors, and was always alot of fun! She never hesitated to jump right in on anything I had questions about or anyone I needed to contact for any reason! She made the wedding a fun and exciting experience instead of a stressful time. I also had vendors compliment Jennifer by telling me that she was a pleasure for them to work with, as well. Jennifer Hamilton will not be a best kept secret for long....

    Michael and I had a wonderful wedding day and we couldn't go without saying that Jennifer played a huge role in making it so special. As an interior designer, I am very detail-oriented. Jennifer and I went through the "day of" plan, and she stepped in as if I was there orchestrating the whole event myself. We couldn't have been more impressed! As a bride, that gave me the opportunity to sit back and relax. Jennifer was always there when we needed her, yet always working "behind the scenes". Michael and I greatly appreciate all of Jennifer's efforts both on and off the stage.

    We used Jennifer for month before - she responded and gave recommendations for venders, contracts, and other needs prior to the 30 days. And on day 30 she was ready to go- meetings, vendors, etc. Very professional, likeable, extremely organized, unflappable, smiling, and pitches in wherever needed on the wedding day. I don not know how we would have done it without her!

    At our wedding, Jennifer made the difference between our family enjoying ourselves in
    a fairly relaxed manner and what would have been utter chaos without her! Without being
    asked, she took initiative to do many things that were so helpful from saving two parking
    places for the family close to the entrance to the reception to dressing a recalcitrant
    grandchild. When the reception came to an end she gathered up our belongings in one
    place so we could load quickly. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking
    for a wedding planner. She is a delight to work with!

    Jennifer was great to work with at first and seemed to have our 2-day wedding events under control. Unfortunately, I found that she was unprepared to handle a large event and took no accountability for her actions as well as that of her assistants.

    Our first event ran significantly behind schedule which caused a lot of stress about having to pay extra for vendors who stayed past the time they were contracted for. Her assistants were also responsible for transporting an expensive flower arrangement that night and it arrived so damaged that much of it had to be discarded. The day of the wedding Jennifer forgot to inspect our rentals. Our florist noticed we were missing chair covers and had to tell Jennifer to track them down. She then forgot to cue the guests to stand during the bridal processional until I was almost at the end of the aisle. Worst of all, her assistants harassed my parents into tipping a vendor my parents were not responsible for tipping right before our sparkler exit. My father asked to handle the situation later, but they repeatedly approached and pressured my parents for the tip until they wrote a check for thousands of dollars. Both parents were very upset and said it was the most negative experience they had at our wedding.

    After our honeymoon, our parents and several vendors told us how unhappy they were about working with Jennifer and her assistants. I spoke to Jennifer several times for an explanation, but she gave us half-hearted apologies that blamed me, my family, the florist, the venue, everyone else but herself or her assistants. She said her assistants actually delivered our flowers in perfect condition and our florist was mistaken, her assistant shyly approached my mother for a tip and that my parents must have misunderstood, etc.

    Jennifer's missteps at our wedding cost us a significant amount of money, stress, and time. These are things a planner should never do.
