STOP where you are if you are considering using the Heritage Club for your reception venue, it was a complete disaster from start to finish! They are some of the most disorganized, unprofessional group of people I have ever met, by the time we realized just how bad it was, it was too late! It's almost impossible to get a hold of anyone there and they lie to you left and right. They quote you one price or say that they'll take care of it, almost everything they told us was a lie! There was a disaster with the bill the night of the wedding! Another huge problem was that they were suppossed to allow my mother and a few people in the night before to decorate, and earlier that day they were suppossed to have the tabels all set to go.... what a joke nothing was ready to go and my mother ended up being there until midnight the night before the wedding!! During the reception I had to hunt down the staff constantly and ask them to do things over and over, like sweeping glass off the dance floor so that my guests wouldn't cut their feet!!! Hello? (Common sense) All because they can't keep themselves together.... I could go on and on... you'll regret it if you use them, and we are not the only couple we've met that feel the same way!!! (Luckily that night we were able to hide most of the disasters from our guests and it was a good night)

Although the reception turned out beautifully (for the most part, more on that at the end) the heritage club was extremely difficult to deal with. We booked them a year before our wedding, and due to their lack of responsiveness, professionalism, and helpfulness, we still did not have the menu or contract straightened out until TWO DAYS before the wedding! They did not return phone calls or emails, and since I live in NYC and my parents live in cincinnati, this Caused us a great deal of stress. On the positive side, the food was wonderful, and the atmosphere is classy and modern- we had the whole club for a very reasonable price. However, throughout the night I had to remind the staff to cut the cake and pour the wine and other things that i had laid out very specifically prior to the event so I wouldn't have to be running after them at my own party! We had a great time but I would highly encourage you to be on top of them- customer service is NOT their forte!
