Early on in the process, Lisa had established herself as the voice of reason. She kept us calm and reminded us of details we hadn't even considered. My daughter's wedding was days after Hurricane Helene. After the storm, Lisa's professionalism and can-do attitude totally saved the day. We ended up changing the venue at the last minute. Lisa made it all possible and did it with a smile. -

I was completely overwhelmed trying to plan our wedding in Asheville while living almost 6 hours away. I found Lisa McMillan and Exquisite events planning online and what a game changer!! She quickly sent me options for all of the vendors I had not yet chosen and was very attentive to making sure I had all of my questions answered while also bringing up questions I hadn't even thought of! Not only was she amazing during the planning process but to say we were impressed on the weekend of would be an understatement!! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was set up perfectly and we didn't have to worry about a single thing! She completely changed... -

Lisa was a life-saver for my wedding. I had no idea what I was doing, and my mom was overwhelmed trying to deal with it all. In comes Lisa. She is such a special person who cares for you - not just for the bottom line. I feel like Lisa became a part of our family, and I truly hope we are able to stay in touch and continue our friendship. Even in the midst of personal tragedy for her and her family, Lisa went the extra mile. She was always there for us and wanted to make sure we felt comfortable and ready to go. 100% would get married again just to be able to work with Lisa!! We hired Lisa as our day of coordinator for our wedding and everything could not have gone smoother. She is sunshine in a bottle and I would trust her with every and any task, big or small, she gets it done. She continued to surprise us every time we talked to her leading up to the big day. We had full confidence in the day running perfectly, her attention to detail and initiative is incredible. She kept us and all of our vendors right on track while having the best attitude. I cannot say enough about how fantastic Lisa is! She had everything together from day one and made sure to keep track of everything. I have never met someone more organized than me until I worked with Lisa. She was my rock through this crazy COVID time with changes every day until my wedding. There was nothing better than hearing "Oh your working with Lisa? This will be easy" from all of my other vendors. Everyone loves her and now I know why! My wife and I are serial planners but wanted someone to help us stay organized and execute our wedding plans. We met Lisa and immediately were impressed with her caring bedside manner, her knowledge and experience and trusted that she was the one to help be part of our special day. Our wedding was impacted by Covid and throughout the planning and transition period Lisa was in constant communication with us, our vendors and helped us adapt our plans on the fly. She is everything you could want in a day of wedding coordinator and if you hire her you will not be disappointed. -

I cannot say enough amazing things about Lisa! From the initial phone call, all the way up to our wedding and wedding day she was more than I could’ve ever hoped for in a coordinator. It ended up pouring rain on our wedding day and Lisa handled everything so well, I never once felt stressed or felt as if things weren’t being handled. She made our day happen! We got married outside in the pouring rain, with all of our guests standing under tents with us while we vowed to forever. Everything was so seamless, and not only myself, but my mother and all of our guests speak so highly of Lisa even a month after our wedding! She pulled our day together despite Mother Nature. Lisa at Exquisite Events & Consulting deserves one hundred thousand stars!! Without a doubt, having Lisa as our Day of Coordinator for our June 2019 wedding in Lake Lure was THE best decision we made went it came to planning our wedding. She radiates positivity and provided endless insider knowledge on how to plan, prep, and execute a beautiful ceremony and reception. She is absolutely a joy to work with and you can tell she not only loves her job, but was made for it! Always quick to respond and had a solution for every hurdle we came across.

Lisa was not only there for EVERY step of the wedding planning process, but she always made me feel like the biggest priority in her life and I will miss her dearly. I chose Lisa after interviewing two other coordinators for our destination wedding in Asheville, NC. Planning a destination wedding is not an easy task however Lisa was very organized, very responsive, and enthusiastic about our wedding from beginning to end. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and I give credit to Lisa! Many guests, including my mother-in-law and bridal party, commented on how well Lisa orchestrated the rehearsal and the wedding. I highly recommend Lisa and all she has to offer!
