Got a stunning lace beaded dress that was unique and only cost 700. at other places it was 2000 for a similar look. the alterations department is great also! this is their job and they do it flawlessly!

I bought my wedding dress at David's Bridal and fell in love with it the first time I tried it on. I thought it was beautiful and a great price. (They had a promotion going on at that time too!) I went several other times to try on dresses, and it seemed every time I went they gave me a different sized dress. One was way too big, another was too small, and once it fit ok. So it was really nerve wrecking when I ordered my dress because I wasn't sure if I'd be getting the right size. However, I think it's due to the women that work there. Some are VERY helpful, while others don't really seem to care. In the end I ended up with a great salesperson, and she even called me personally, which was very thoughtful. I also used their alterations department (at a different store, this time in La Mesa, CA), at the very last minute because I decided to buy different shoes, so they made me about an inch shorter. They did a GREAT job, and were able to get my dress done in time before the wedding!

I LOVE my dress, which I got from the $99.00 dollar sale rack, I got tons of compliments on it.

BUT this davids bridal is usually messy, and only a few of the people on the floor are friendly. And once I told the sales person I wanted to see the $99 dollar stuff she said, "it's over there don't drag it on the floor." I never saw her again after that. So I love my dress and do believe in saving money, which makes Davids Bridal perfect but this store needs some work!

I also got all my brides maids dresses, flower girls dresses, my veil, and my head peice there.

Service here isn't that great. The reason being is because there is so much traffic in there that isn't purchasing, so when people are in there with serious inquiries, they aren't taken seriously. Once I finally was considered as a serious customer, things went very smoothly. I found a great dress, veil, and my alterations were done to perfection.

The david's bridal in bakersfield is awesome they had a great selection of dresses and a friendly staff.

I had heard mixed things about The David's bridal in Bakersfield, Ca but I didnt have any negative experiances or dress horror stories. I bought all of my bridesmaids dresses, flower girls dresses, mother of the bride dress and my grandmothers dress from there AND all the alterations were done there aswell. They women seemed very helpful in helping me find my dress and also gave opinions for helping choose my moms shoes. I thought they did pretty well.

The girls here were wonderful in helping me find what i wanted and needed.

we went to a small davids bridal in bakersfield and found a very simple dress for me to use in a backyard type wedding. they were somewhat pushy to get me to wear a fancier dress, but once they realized thats not what i wanted they were very helpful in helping me pick a dress i wanted.
