24 hours to plan my perfect wedding.....
My venue cancelled on us 36 hours before our wedding. Our wedding planner Karen Buckley, owner of avant garden I had hired for day of only jumped into action she introduced me to Sonya the event coordinator for The House. She and the owners and their staff stayed up through the night calling in favors to secure a tent, tables, chairs, even heaters. They, along with Karen, decorated and pulled together the most beautiful setting and amazing food and ambiance. My guests expected very little based on the last minute change and they all raved about everything. I couldn't be happier! They saved us literally! Sonya even stayed and held umbrellas over our heads as we walked the small space to the tent, then walked me at the end of the night to our car! Just imagine how amazing a wedding would be there that was planned ahead of time. I can't rave enough!!

I am so grateful for everything Jill at Avant Garde did for my New Year's wedding. She was such a joy to work with throughout the wedding process. She was full of great ideas, all working with my personality and style. Her kindness and patience were much appreciated! I knew Jill would do an amazing job, but I must say that she far surpassed what I could have ever imagined. When I entered my reception, I was speechless! She created the most amazing entrance with hanging lanterns in trees, hurricanes surrounding the entrance and tea lights around the fountain. The entrance to the reception was just the beginning. The flowers throughout the house were beautiful and were perfect for the location venue and occasion. So many guests commented on the decor and flower arrangements. I happened to have family at the site while Jill was setting up on the day of. They all later told me how wonderful, professional and hard working she was as she prepared the reception. Jill, thank you for making the day so special!

Working with Karen was amazing. She had great ideas and really listened to mine. I couldn't be happier with the flowers. I would highly recommend Avant Garden to anyone.

Working with Karen was a great experience! From our first meeting with her, we knew she would be our florist. We explained to her that we were going to have 9 bridesmaids and 9 groomsmen. She immediately worked with us to come up with floral arrangements that were beautiful, but within our budget as well.

My bridal bouquet was absolutely gorgeous - flame and mango calla lillies! The vibrant colors made every single picture amazing! I wish I could include them in this review. Karen was amazing! I walked in with a picture on my cell phone of the color scheme I was going for and she was prepared to bend over backwards to get me the flowers I eventually fell in love with. she has a great sense of style, so if you're into high design, modern, colorful, or desert-chic, this is your lady. She also does a lot of flowers for corporations in the Biltmore area so if you need conservative/traditional she's got you covered there as well.
