Our wedding cake was a highly anticipated part of our special day, and the team at Zingerman’s Bakehouse truly exceeded all of our expectations. During our initial consultation, Alyce was extremely helpful in guiding us through the many design options and hand-sketched the most beautiful cake that perfectly captured our wedding style and vision. The tasting box that they put together for us was absolutely delicious, and my husband and I had the best time picking out flavors from their many offerings and recommendations before finally deciding on their vanilla chiffon cake with lemon curd and raspberry buttercream. We really wanted to incorporate fresh floral arrangements on our cake, and the Zingerman’s Bakehouse team worked seamlessly with our florist to coordinate the design and set-up. On the day of our wedding, the cake was stunning and exactly how we envisioned it, and our guests endlessly complimented how absolutely delicious it was. After our wedding, the Bakehouse team also went above and beyond to help us coordinate for a replacement top tier for our anniversary after our hotel mistakenly threw ours away. We really can't thank Zingerman’s Bakehouse enough for their incredible work and for making the entire process easy and stress-free. We highly recommend Zingerman’s Bakehouse to any other couples looking for a beautiful and delicious cake for their big day.

Our cake was everything I wanted it to be. It was absolutely gorgeous (though I may be biased, we got to help design the cake), and it tasted absolutely phenomenal. We had three cake flavors, and our guests had a blast being able to try them all and pick their favorite (which was the apple spice cake). The whole process, from tasting and designing the cake to seeing it brought to life was so much fun and everything turned out so much better than I could have ever wanted!

We loved our wedding cake from Zingerman's Bakehouse. The cake tasting box was filled with delicious flavors to choose from. We chose the Buttermilk Cake with Lemon Buttercream filling and it was fantastic. The guest loved it and we were extremely pleased. My cake was created perfectly, i sent a few pictures of my vision and it was exactly like the picture. If you are looking for a cake just choose them, you won't regret it.

My fiance and I some ideas of what we wanted our cake to look like but for the most part were pretty clueless. The ideas we had were all over the place and our designer really went above and beyond. She captured what we were saying in one drawing and it was very impressive.

We loved working with the Bakehouse! The cake was delicious, our guests loved it, and it was beautifully decorated. The sugar flowers were unbelievable, and even matched some of the flowers in the wedding. They even made a small gum paste version of our cat, which was awesome :) The cake matched the image we had initially discussed with them during the consultation, and came out even better than we imagined!

My husband and I are frequent Zingerman's customers- both at the deli and bakehouse. We love that they are a local business, excel in customer service, and use the highest quality ingredients. We did some other cake tastings in the Ann Arbor area, thinking that a Zingerman's wedding cake would not fit in our budget. Needless to say after cake tasting at other bakeries, we couldn't find the right fit for us and ended up at Zingerman's Bakehouse. We never looked back! Their cakes are seriously THE BEST, and we were amazed by the value. Their pricing is very competitive, and we felt the design, quality, and taste of their wedding cakes far exceeded any of the other places we tried. We felt at ease throughout the process, and they make multiple last minute adjustments for us. We received so many compliments from our guests saying it was the best wedding cake they had ever had! We also added a small gluten free cake at the last minute for some of our guests and appreciated the flexibility of Zingerman's Bakehouse to make that happen. We can't say enough good things about our experience with the Bakehouse and would highly recommend them! We are looking forward to our one year anniversary because we saved the top tier of our wedding cake and can't wait to enjoy it!

Love love love Zingermans!!! When my fiancé and I had our consultation we were treated like royalty and Alyce sketched out our dream cake right before our eyes! All of the flavors we tried were amazing to the point we couldn't decide what we wanted! About a week after I contacted zingermans asking if they could make certain cakes with fillings we hadn't tried yet and they did no questions asked. They are absolutely wonderful to work with if I could give 100000 stars I would. We will definitely use Zingermans in the future for special occasion cakes :)

PERFECT experience and a piece of art at our wedding. So happy with how they were able to create what I had asked for. They also made custom cookies for our guests to take with them. Perfect experience.

We did not end up booking Zingerman's for our wedding, but I wanted to make sure and leave a positive review. Their staff was so nice and they worked with us to figure out what we wanted and their tasting experience is great! The cakes were delicious and they even gave us a tour of their facility. They use local and natural ingredients, which is very cool! I definitely recommend them!

We love Zingerman's!! When we first sat down with Erin, my husband I really wanted cupcakes for our wedding because my husband is not a fan of cake. In fact, he would rather eat any other dessert besides cake. So, we talked to Erin about the different cupcake options, pricing and went on our merry way with our sample box of cakes. When we sat down and compared vendors, we decided to go with Zingerman's based on reputation, quality of baked goods and reliability. Plus, they are located literally down the road off of I-94, near our wedding venue, which was the Marriott in Ypsilanti and we knew they could get there, even in a snow storm (if that ended up happening on our wedding day).

Well, something amazing when we took the cake home. My husband and I loved every sample! Yes, my husband LOVED the cake! He loved the samples so much that he said that we needed to have an actual cake, instead of cupcakes, so that everyone could enjoy the wonderful flavors!

We worked with Emily on our New Year's Eve wedding cake. She designed a beautiful, classy and blinged out cake! We chose three different flavors for each tier of the cake. We went with the chocolate, the humingbird and the vanilla chiffon. Elise made our cake, as Erin was on maternity leave, and it turned out amazing! We had a lot of complements on how the cake looked and guests raved about how amazing the cake tasted! We highly recommend Zingerman's for your wedding cake. Erin and Elise were fantastic to work with and they walked us through the entire design process and they made things so easy for us. Our wedding cake was one of the few things I didn't have to worry about on our wedding day.

We took home the top tier of our cake and I called Zingerman's after our wedding and they told me how to wrap the cake and store it in the freezer. We are happily still enjoying our cake and it's still moist! I promise you won't be sorry if you choose them as your cake vendor!
