About Us

VERGE photography started as the dream of a young couple that loved art, photography and each other. They knew that they wanted to work together and do something amazing in the realm of art and so it began… One foggy afternoon while Daniel was hiking with a friend in the Rockies he came to a precipice that was obscured by the fog. The friends started discussing what it felt like to be on the VERGE of a sheer rock like that and the name VERGE stuck in Daniel’s head. VERGE…It is an edge, a threshold, the brink... it means to be in contact, touching… on the verge... in transition and extending in some direction or toward some condition. We are always at the threshold... the edge of a timeless moment waiting to be captured. It is the endless creativity and beauty that can be found in people and moments that motivates us to keep extending, to keep taking extraordinary images. This is what it means to us to be VERGE photography.
