Wedding Photography in Durango

Allison was my absolute favorite wedding vendor and that speaks volumes because everyone of my vendors was phenomenal! We originally booked Allison when we were visiting family in Colorado as I had a vision for waterfall engagement pictures. Allison picked an amazing location that everyone continues to ask me about because they all want to go there now and the photos were outstanding! After receiving our photos, we knew we wanted Allison to photograph our wedding. The idea of hiring a vendor so far away was initially scary but working with Allison was an absolute dream! From day one she was amazing, always so quick to respond and went above and beyond, even coordinating with my videographer and planner. Allison and her husband Matt travelled all the way down to Fredericksburg, Texas to photograph our wedding. They captured everything, I would merely think oh I would like a photo with this person, and I would turn, and they would be right there ready to capture the moment. Not only are they incredibly talented but they were so fun to be around, they helped us create so many fun memories that we will cherish forever. Oh! And let’s not forget how incredibly fast Allison was getting our photos back to us. I have never met a photographer as quick as she is, I really don’t know how she does all that she does! She takes an immense amount of pride in her work, and it is so refreshing to work with someone who genuinely cares so much. Allison and Matt have the kindest souls. I felt like they were long lost members of the family. We are already planning to bring our future babies to Colorado one day so Allison can work her magic capturing more important moments of our lives.

We would highly recommend Kelly! She made us feel at ease and relaxed during our wedding photos! The photos turned out amazing- lots of different poses that truly capture the memory of our special day! We couldn't have been more pleased!

So amazing! Cannot say enough good things about this team. They are so spunky, fun and friendly. Aside from that their photography is like no other. You can see their passion for photography and their clients in the results of their pictures. The pictures are honest and unlike any others.

Sabrina was absolutely fantastic to work with We didn't even get to meet face to face until the wedding day because it was a destination wedding. However, we had several phone calls and countless emails that made the day run smoothly (even with subpar weather). Our photos turned out beautifully and I've already recommended her to a friend of a friend that's planning a destination wedding in Durango as well.

I could absolutely not be happier with the amazing job Lexi did for us on our big day! I want to keep the review short but it’s hard because I have so many things to rave about.. Let’s start with the obvious – (A) The Photography – Lexi spent so much time speaking with me about our vision and studying exactly what we wanted. She has forms that help lay out every important detail, timeline, and family groups. She even studied my family members’ names and history to understand the dynamic between everyone so she didn’t stick any one in awkward situations! (Divorcees, etc.). I was insanely impressed with that. She went above and beyond to trek through the forest with us and take us outside when the sunset lighting was perfect. She’s amazing at capturing candid moments that you would never expect a camera person to catch, I now have the most precious and hilarious moments to look back at. Our pictures could not be more amazing, seriously. She even custom designed a box and hard drive that is perfect for our home and will proudly be displayed forever! (B) Her Personally – She is an absolute expert. I called her constantly for wedding advice unrelated to photography because she always knew exactly what to do. On the day of, she easily handled our rowdy friends and family to keep things moving while having a great time. Afterwards, she wrote a beautiful blog that summed up our love story in a way I can’t even explain. I don’t even know how she knew or remembered the details and stories she wrote about, but I cry my eyes out reading it and it is now and hung on our wall at home. I never expected to get so many special things out of a vendor. She is so much more than just a vendor, she is a mentor and a friend. She helped make our day even more special, and anyone who hires her is making an excellent decision. Thank you Lexi for everything!

Working with Kara was an absolute dream from start to finish. Despite coming from out of state, she made the entire process seamless with her incredible planning and clear communication. She knew exactly where to take our engagement photos and made sure to capture every special moment we hoped for. Ezra did both our engagement photos in the mountains then traveled to Denver to shoot our wedding. He was AMAZING. Our photos are so beautiful - he really knows how to capture a moment and get a magical shot. It's amazing it's just him with a camera - it's like he was able to multiply himself to get our wedding from so many angles. He was easy to work with and knew how to direct us to get the best photos. We can't recommend him highly enough!
