About

Since 1888, Town & Country Club has been a landmark of hospitality and tradition. As the oldest club in Minnesota and the fifth-oldest club in the United States, T&C has built a legacy of exceptional food, beverage, and event experiences, helping members and guests create unforgettable memories for more than a century.

Featuring sweeping floor-to-ceiling views of the Minneapolis skyline, our beautifully renovated Ballroom offers a timeless and elegant setting for weddings and special events. The space is adorned with six classic chandeliers, sophisticated wall sconces, a grand stone fireplace, rich mahogany pillars, a built-in hardwood dance floor, and elegantly upholstered seating. Accommodating up to 250 guests for a seated dinner, the Ballroom combines historic charm with modern amenities, while its breathtaking skyline views provide a truly unforgettable backdrop for your celebration.

Available from mid-May through mid-October, The Lawn provides a picturesque outdoor setting for cocktail receptions and social hours. Overlooking the Mississippi River, this beautiful space allows guests to enjoy drinks and appetizers while taking in one of the Twin Cities’ most scenic views.

Whether you are planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, Town & Country Club offers a venue rich in history, dedicated to culinary excellence, and conveniently located just five minutes from both downtown Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul.

In addition to weddings and receptions, we also host bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, and post-wedding brunches.

It would be our honor to be part of your special day. Due to high demand, weddings and large events often book a year or more in advance. Private tours are available by appointment only Tuesday through Saturday.

Beautiful venue, outstanding food, fantastic staff!

We fell in love with the Town and Country Club as soon as we walked in the doors. They have been through the entire covid wedding planning process with us. Allowing us to postpone multiple times, at some points we had two days on the calendar. Their support and flexibility were greatly appreciated. The venue is elegant, classic, and spacious. As the bride, my #1 goal was great food, and I can't express enough how outstanding the food is at the T&C Club! We continue to receive compliments on how great the meal was from happy hour to entrees to dessert and late night snacks. Emma and her staff are so kind. They are a well-oiled machine. Everything was executed perfectly. Emma is a joy to work with. She is very organized and dedicated to making sure you have the day of your dreams. We were even surprised with a special moment for my husband and I to sneak away for sunset photos at the top of the golf course. There isn't one thing I would change about our reception and the staff at T&C club is the reason for such an amazing day.

The Perfect Wedding Reception

My daughter recently had her wedding at Town and Country Club, and there was only one word to describe the event ..... PERFECT! Their special event and catering director Emma was so wonderful to work with. She was very organized and helped take the stress out of wedding planning. Everyone we worked with at Town and Country Club was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The chef was amazing! When we went to the tasting, he presented such beautiful and tasty plates of food, and he promised every plate served on the wedding day would look just as wonderful. And he was right! The food was amazing!! We chose walleye, boneless short rib, and parmesan chicken as our main entrees. All three meal choices were excellent, and people are still talking about how delicious and generous the food was and how beautifully it was presented. It was definitely not your typically wedding food. The other compliment we have been hearing over and over from our guests was how beautiful the venue and grounds were. We were fortunate to have gorgeous weather so we had a wonderful outdoor social hour. The lush green lawn and colorful flowers made everything look that much more festive and were a perfect backdrop for wedding photos. The indoor area was just as wonderful. The room was spacious, had a generous dance floor and bar area, and lots of beautiful woodwork and large chandeliers. The whole west side of the room had huge windows that overlooked the river and downtown skyline. The only decorations we added were some flowers, candles and greenery on the tables. I am so glad my daughter and son-in-law chose Town and Country Club for their wedding venue. It was so much easier to have a venue that provided everything, rather than having to coordinate separate catering and alcohol providers, rent linens, tables/chairs, lighting, sound systems, etc. I give Town and Country Club my highest recommendation.

Wow, I am blown away with this place! There was such a great quality of professionalism and quick response from Brooke. Thank you so much for accommodating everything exactly how I envisioned it to be! Exactly one year from our wedding today and we would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

We had our reception at Town & Country Club. Everything went very smooth. Brooke was awesome to work with and answered all of our questions. They helped with set up and their staff made sure all of our guests enjoyed their evening.

We chose Town and Country Club for a variety of reasons, including location (beautiful views of the Minneapolis skyline!), food (as a vegetarian, it is fantastic to have options OTHER than butternut squash ravioli for a wedding), and service. This staff is efficient, responsive to last minute requests, and calm and collected in the face of unanticipated issues. Perfect for a wedding! I would highly recommend Town and Country Club!

We loved our wedding ceremony and reception at Town & Country Club. The venue itself is beautiful, classic and elegant. They were extremely flexible with menu options and the general structure of the day. We changed our mind from a traditional evening dinner reception to a brunch wedding, and they were enthusiastic and accommodating. The food is DELICIOUS- this is not standard wedding food- and priced at a very competitive rate. They were also great with personalizing the menu to fit with our budget.

The only reason I did not find them to be a 5 star venue/value was because they were rather expensive when it came to the bar tab. They do not offer packages for open bar or semi-open bar, rather everything is pay by the keg/glass/cocktail. Additionally, if you have a cash or partial cash bar, guests need actual cash- no credit or debit cards accepted. This was a little annoying and a bit of an inconvenience. Otherwise, we loved our wedding at Town & Country and would recommend them.

Town and Country Club did a great job! Brooke was a pleasure to work with, very friendly, responsive, and professional. She made the whole wedding day go smoothly and took so much of my stress away! We received so many compliments from our guests on the food and the beautiful location (a beautiful skyline view and garden in the summer, you really can't beat the view). The reception room was also beautiful with dark cherry wood and a big dance floor! I would definitely recommend them!
