About Us
Experience the quiet ambience of the historic Community House of Hamilton and Wenham.  In 1921, the Mandell family of Hamilton commissioned architect Guy Lowell to design a building in memory of the eight men from the two towns who gave their lives during WWI.. Lowell is most recognized for his design of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts building on Huntington Avenue and the New York State Supreme Court building.

Our space may be rented by the public. We are handicap accessible and air-conditioned.

Main Hall ~ Designed in the style of a 1920s ballroom, the room has wonderfu) architectural details,  a stage with a grand piano, and opens into the Library.

Library ~ An intimate, oak-paneled room with working fireplace. The library is furnished with Mandell family pieces.

Conference room ~ Located on the lower level, this room was once a four lane bowling alley. Today it is a bright, modern space with skylights, kitchenette, and access to a city garden.

The grounds may be tented for larger events.

Caterers are thrilled to prepare your menu in out state of the art kitchen or on our grounds.
