Situated high above the Atlantic Ocean on the Newport Cliff Walk, there is no more idyllic site for an intimate wedding than The Chanler. Our focus at The Chanler is on intimate events that we customize to suit your unique taste and desires. Weddings at The Chanler take place inside our magnificently appointed mansion or al fresco on our bluestone terrace. The following areas, with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, are our reception sites:

The Vernda can accommodate up to 20 guests
The Spiced Pear Restaurant can accommodate up to 40 guests for daytime wedding’s.
The Terrace can accommodate up to 80 guests
Complete buyout of the property (which includes all 20 guestrooms & all of our food and beverage space) which can accommodate up to 225 guests in a tent on one of our lawns.

The Chanler’s splendid oceanfront backdrop and elegant interiors naturally attract those who desire a classic affair. For extraordinary privacy, the entirety of the hotel may be reserved for the celebration.

No matter the size, each Chanler wedding is greeted with the greatest attention to detail in planning and service; customized gourmet cuisine from the Spiced Pear; and an array of breathtaking wedding and reception sites.
