Wetherledge is an estate that sits high on a ledge on the southeast end of
Jamestown, Rhode Island. The main house was built as a summer cottage in 1889. Fort Wetherill now a Park surrounds the property. The gatehouse resembles a small castle and was built as a carriage house in the 1920's.
It has been converted into a charming house to ,rent I planed a wonderful wedding here and it was a Joy to work with Jane Scott. The grounds and gardens are stunning and one can host a pre or post part on the estate as will. I give the venue 5 stars!

Finding Wetherledge was the second best thing that happened to our wedding .. Finding each other was the first! We cannot say enough amazing things of Wetherledge and its owner, Jane. The property is breathtaking, spacious and the perfect setting for a romantic, unique wedding. Jane is warm, inviting, knowledgeable and was truly invested in making our day as perfect as possible. If you are considering a wedding in Jamestown - choosing Wetherledge is a no brainer!!

The venue was just perfect for a small wedding. Jane was very flexible and helpful. The property has the newport view but at a much more affordable price than the venues at newport. The cottage on the property was a plus allowing family and friends to stay within close proximity. Highly recommend other brides to check out this venue.
