As a beauty expert, BBC Nashville founder & CEO, Betsy Briggs Cathcart’s work has been featured on a national level in magazine editorials, videos, commercials and advertising campaigns. Betsy brings over 25 years of experience and expertise to create an individualized style and overall image for her diverse clientele. Born in Baltimore, Maryland and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Betsy's interest in imaging was sparked at an early age.

After attending University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Cosmetology school, Betsy's diverse background includes working in numerous areas of the talent industry, including stints as a talent agent, photographer representative., talent convention staff and a hair/make up artist. Throughout her career, Betsy has worked with some of the nation's top photographers, models and stylists such as the mother of rock and roll Bebe Buell, five-time VOGUE cover girl Emily Sandberg, new Chanel it-girl Binx and brand ambassador for Schwarzkopf Kim Vo. She has crafted images for Vogue.It (Italia), Nfocus, Nashville Scene, HER, Southern Weddings, Nashville Post and Mocha Magazine as well as promotional campaigns for a number of national companies such as Toyota and Budweiser. And also worked on the set as part of the crew for numerous video shoots, including Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood and the Mavericks.

Approaching 13 years with BBC Nashville, Betsy is happily married to Dan for 19 years and they have two daughters. She also makes "giving back" to the community a priority for the Salon by supporting a number of local causes including YWCA/Shear Haven, and working with cancer patients and those afflicted with alopecia.

Allison has been immersed in the beauty industry since 2009; specializing in skincare, spray tanning, waxing, makeup, high frequency, and lash lifting/tinting. She loves making people feel their absolute best, and establishing meaningful connections with her guests. Studying the newest techniques and staying on top of the latest trends is paramount to her success in helping her guests achieve their goals.

When she’s not in the studio you’ll find her at local rock shows, hunting for vintage finds, or practicing yoga and meditation. Did we mention she has the greenest thumb in town?

Kirsten, a Florida born, Nashville resident of 13 years grew up in the hair industry and performed her first “highlight” at just the young age of 12. This stylist has experience with studio work from feature films to live network tapings having worked with Dan + Shay, Little Big Town, Kacey Musgrave, Lily Aldridge, Jessie Baylin, and Jewel - just to name a few.

As well as being well trained in precision cutting, Kirsten has extensive experience in lived in color, formal styling, and extensions.
